32 200gal smart pots

yeah when that thing gets real moist it will sink, i have been growing with promix for 10 years, and i know tht it comes dry as fuck and compacted, it takes alot of water the first time to get it real consistant. my prediction is that when they get real wet you will see some pockets sink, it looks like its lightly packed, but once wet it should be easier to pack down.
btw im not trying to get on your case or anything, im just trying to make sure that you have all angles covered before you get started, i always hate being half way through a grow and then somthing happens and in reality it could have been avoided by properly preparing in the begining

WOW! props Aero...either way...your going to have some fucking MONSTERS....as long as YOU harvest them, you will have Mounds 'O' Pounds.....Im going for the same scenario....been a little cloudy and rainey here for the last few days...sucks....I like the 80/60 high/lows we where having the last month or so.....be well my friend.

Aero- What did your soil mix turn out to be? I saw the 4 bags of promix but how much perlite and worm castings did you mix into each pot?

hey forgot to ask, are you worried about deer eating your plants??? thought about a small chicken wire encirclement around each plant?

The ak47 im running actually came from bag seed. some real killer AK.. grew out a few moms and kept my fav. I believe it was from serious seeds
For soil mix i have decided to just add about 75lbs of worm casting per 200gal. I got a whole line of espoma products im going to be mixing in aswell. for feed i got a 300gal water tank that i am going to premix with guanos once to twice a week. i figure about 25-50gals a week should be good. then maybe by August i bump up to 50-75 a week.
I didnt add ANY perlite bc my mix is already very well aerated. the HP is the way to go guys.
def going to encircle the 200gals with 4ft chickenwire to protect from dear and other little bastards. what i like to do is throw handfulls of dried blood all over the ground around the area. this will keep ALL animals away. another alternative is get a sock fill with dried blood tie it up and hang a few from nearby trees the scent will keep those fuckers away.
really hope we get some nice rain to saturate these thangs.
anyhow, back to the woods i go!

so i went on the smart pot webpage and it said that 27cf of soil fill 1 200gal. each bale is 3.8cf compressed and roughly 7cf uncompressed so about 4 bales should do. make more sense now?

damn aero u have deff got that shit ready to rock when do u plan on putting plants in there ... i can feel ya on not wanting to mix all that soil up i put all my od stuff out n 30 to 65 gallon pots with 1 to3 plants n each . i put them outdoors ant beg. of last week and they are already stratng to bloom ... my sdog started blooming 2nd day out.. any how the plot looks great all u need there is me n a gilly suit and my 7mm rifle il keep deer and shbit away and fill the freezer uppp ya know drelow51\50
hahah my man. soon enough! thinking the first week of may. forgot to turn my lights back they been on 18-6 gotta bring em down more before they can go out. we should have all the soil to all spots no later then Sunday. i already filled 11 of 30. filling about 4 a day.

i just cant beleive that your carrying all that dirt, wow, i used 15 bales of promix hp for my indoor grow, so i know your pain, i baught 30 bales and that was alot to carry, but you got even more to carry plus you gotta carry it up hills and across rugged terrain, are you alone? or do you have a buddy to help with all that work?

I have no idea how you're doing it. What kind of quadruple$$$$ figures are you looking at?
Lets hope that's enough water, you might want to invest in some mulch for the top layer of your girls, last thing you'd want is to have the air sucking out all your water
