I get Aphids every few months. Spinosid kills every one, I spray the top of the soil, too. No spray in flower room, only veg. If they show up in flower, I leave them.

I assume they come in the cracks of the house or on me. I try to spray the room and it's entrance. Here in the PP region, outside temps fluctuate greatly year round.

I hope I don't ever see the mites.

I went to a Denver rally about 12 years ago. Seemed like a bunch of thugs looking for free weed. I know lots of you guys live in and love Denver, but I try to avoid it after too many bad vibe encounters.

I learned to make sure all my lights are covered and I have good venting now, so no ladybugs dying from going into the light, my temps stay at about 75, and all my fans and filters have covers so the ladybugs don't get sucked up. I don't like using anything in flower except ladybugs and manual squishing of visible mites, the infestations isn't that bad. I use bang in veg, which is organic, it says it can be used up to 3 days before harvesting, but I just don't like to do that at all.

Never the less, the entire room will get sterilized, as I had a male death star dump pollen all in my room, and I do a perpetual multi strain type of situation.

I am totally going to the 420 rally, I'm rolling some fattys in the morning. Who wants to meet up and puff?

Taking a friend for surgery AND dealing with a claims adjuster for my roof (PLEASE let them approve it). I'm kind of upset I've got all that tomorrow.

Where and what time is it?

Most folks get there early...4:20 at Civic Center Park. I'll be there with the girls from Botanico...:dance013:

No you dont.

Spinosad does not kill on contact, it needs to be consumed by the bugs to work. Also, it is not systemic and just sits on the leaf surface.

Aphids pierce the plant tissue and suck the juices, thus bypassing the Spinosad, making it entirely ineffective against aphids..

Spinosad is only effective against pests that "mine" the leaf surface, you probably have thrips or leafminers.

was anybody in aspen this wknd? i just read a newspaper article (http://dscriber.com/greenzone/1564-cannabis-crown-in-aspen-awards-top-honors-to-candy-kush.html) that led me to believe that the cup was awarded based exclusively on lab testing the THC content. is that for real? is that really what this industry is headed for is a pissing contest for the highest THC content? complete rubbish as our friends across the pond would say.

There are 2 Cups....one that was for the "tested" and the other is called the People's Choice...which is about taste, quality and judged by independent jusdges over the next week or so...so that won't be announced for 2 weeks or more.

Pato is awesome. And I've met the kids from P-Nuckle.

We'll probably go to The Three Kings after my friends knee surgery. Our friends own the bar and that's where we ended up last year.

Question on how to use the pyrethium SPRAY (not the "bomb"). Can I just spray it in the room? Do I need to spray it directly on the plants? Just lightly over the plants? Or saturate? I am assuming with lights off.

LOL...Dude...you are supposed to leave the room after setting it off...

....and point away from face...stoned again, are we?

BTW...that pyrethium beats the fuck outta the Borg!!!:dance013:

I was killing eggs with a hand spray... big ass fan's timer switched on as I was spraying and put it right back in my face.

Another lesson learned through failure.

Shit I dont feel too good, I'm going to call poison control.

Anytime I spray anything, I start about 15 mins before lights out (be careful not to hit the lights with liquid! -- BIG BOOM!!!!) - not enough time to burn the girls. Besides, if the lights go out I can burn an incandescent for a few mins...won't hurt.

The bomb is the way to go tho...set it off at lights out, go back in at lights on and turn the fans back on...all done and you got everything!:dance013: Spray (by hand) every 4-5 days 3X...if you are spraying for critters, spray the bottoms of the leaves...to feed....hit the topsides...

It kills on contact, you need to hit the bugs with it, however possible.
