mother earth tea is actually one of the good advanced product if you have a chemical base from any brand like gh or advanced a+b or bc,nutri plus or whatever .

big bud, overdrive, mother earth tea , bud candy (so far ) are a few good product from advanced but they sell humic at 30 $ liter ...i pay 11 $ from nutri plus ...

be bright and you can use many product from different brand .

Mother Earth tea is a mild organic fert. I like it. as I said, anything works. I think Vermitea is much cleaner and really eats the salts in my medium.

hey toohighmf , have you ever heard about nutri + products ?

they are from my neck of the wood and they have very good stuff so far because they are not expansive at all . they are a kind of copy of advanced /gh but at fraction of the price . its very dominant in every store here .

any opinion on it ?

I think I went through some samples of some of their product and had no adverse effects. I'm sure they work great. everything does if you know how to use it.

I haven't read through this entire thread, but I can say this: since I switched over from my old bloom additives to bigbud and overdrive (as well as carboload) I've seen my yield go up enough to peak my interest big time.

I can only speak for those 3 products, but I can't say enough good things about them...

I just got back from a grow shop and I was going there to get myself some GH nutes or the pure blend pro BUT the guy there wouldn't stop pushin AN at me. He asked if price was an issue which I of course said no simply to see where he was going with it and sure enough he picked out the most expensive bottles of nutes I have ever seen.

$40+ for a small sized bottle of the AN organic and then brought up another 3-6 different other AN products which would have gotten me well over $200 (I am bad at math but there was sticker shock to say the least).

Going in thinking about spending around $40 to $50 on a line up and came out with NOTHING because at that point I didn't know what I wanted and I don't care to be "sold" no matter how good a discount or deal is offered. Research first then buy BUT got to love the sales attempt lol.

I run the micro grow bloom and a couple extras and sure I could just add to that lineup which I think I will do instead of jumpin on the other stuff. I already thought the AN nutes I had were pricey enough lol.

SO since this is an Advanced Nutes thread a couple questions.

What AN products would you add to the following

Micro
Grow
Bloom

I actually have ran just the above with some molasses here and there and had great results AND all while being in FFOF (don't care for this soil anymore).

I just found out I inherited 2 80" complete Colosseums. I'm finding out if I can get my hands on some AN for testing pourposes. will know by the end of the week. I will run with AN, the other with my personal arsenal consisting of GH flora base, this garden is just getting cheaper & cheaper every day I procrastinate... I always wanted to try 1. now I get 2! little worried about filling both of em. not just plant numbers but just seems like some serious overcrowding. Anyone with a link or helpful info please shoot me a pm, thanks! :tiphat:

Way to go. As a tip try using H and G against the AN on the next grow. You'll find it kicks AN's ass. I know because a very good friend who used AN has ditched the entire AN range and switched completely to H and G. Make sure all the parameters (strain from same mother, light, RH, temp etc) are exactly the same. It's the only way to get a fair result. The only difference being the nutrient range used. Can't wait to see the result.

another q for toohigh

you seems to stay away of the botanicare line up ? is the 4 sweet is one of teh reason why you dodge away from them or its because they started to remove ingredient from their bullet proof formula 2 years ago (humic and fulvic)

i am a botanicare users but i have some severe issue when they pull ingredient and start to release multiple product and additives...sweet...they release a raw sweet now...its the 4 bottle of the very same carbo formula at 30 $ the liter...for product that clearly aim at the marijuana grower ... but these ferts coe denied and repeal any association with even medical marijuana....who will want to give stuff to have a grape taste in grape vine ? or a citrusy taste to is orange ? or a berry taste to is strawberry ???????????? please show me one non cannabis grower who will not laugh at you if you show them these sweet product...or floralicious...

i am seriously thinking to get to another ferts coe for my next run...after all the recent pbp is nothing but a-b formula + tea...

my word is all the main ferts coe are liar and hypocrite when it come to marketing strategy and cannabis grower .they all cut down their product in order to have you buy more...4 diff sweet is the perfect and most horrible example of it all

lol... commercial fruit and vegetable growers use pete fert in 50 pounds bag lmao ! i know a guy who own 6 giant commercial greenhouse (non cannabis) and a whole farm and he laugh at all the ferts ad when they claim to grow bigger fruit lol its for pot and nothing else .

mullray...i have become interested in the H&G line myownself. Do you use any of the additives and if so which ones?

I love both the RE and the Algen used with GH base nutes.

Also if you happen to know what is the point in the two different enzymes they recommend for flowering (one early and a different one late)? For the life of me I cannot understand that.

just thaught id throw a little gas on the fire, lol.

as ive said i used to use jacks professional k-trate for flowering but have switched to AN to see the diff and what AN could really do.

so yes i do use an and have great results.

and yes i have used jacks professional with great results.

i have not heard many ppl say anything bad about jacks pro or peters ferts, because they are a good fert that is consistantly proven by farmers and greenhouses world wide.

but from what i see ppl are bashing AN because they make a whole bunch of products for diff needs of diff growers, well here, look at the product list of jacks pro

http://www.jacksprofessional.com/products.pdf

they got a whole bunch of products that are either made for diff plant species or for diff applications depending on the plants specific needs.

the only thing i see wrong with AN is their pricing, but thats the same with any other fert in the hydro shop

good post Joe.

Scott's / Peter's certainly not the only example of an extensive products list.

And as for marketing to yield, just look at the Neptune's Harvest website.

lol

Don't like it for whatever reason? Don't buy it. That is one of the great aspects of capitalism.

I use Botanicare. Tregg is a homie! I use calmg+. swear by it. Love liquid karma, I use PBP original or pro bloom sometimes, I love Hydroplex. used to love humic fulvic. shame the dept of agriculture don't see humic as a non plant food, or benefit. silica blast def works.

Supposed to be certain hormones and other ingredients at different times....

Really dialed, Econicamical, Tasty.....:)

After all the nute dialing I've done I found a 'home.'

am i missing something or is AN reducing the concentration of several of their products (e.g. hammerhead going from 9/18 to 4/8)?

are they adjusting prices or just bending a bunch of us over?

I heard about 70% of their stuff was pulled off shelves in Calif. Seems they've been done for non compliancy and false advertising. Jeeze - wonder why?????????

I use their nutrients, their Rhizo, P boost, and shoots. That's as far as it goes. I mix a few of my own things (amino acid organic stimulants + bio teas) Love the stuff but that's just my personal opinion and I expect there are other products out there which perform as well. I personally think AN is cack for kids and wouldn't go near their products. Their nutes were about the crappiest things I've ever used. Maybe if I used all their additives to create a decent nute it may have been better.

I'll begin posting up a grow from start to finish (including grow room set up and building) in the next six months. Myself and a friend are sourcing state of the art gear now including monitoring devices for pH, EC, Temp, RH, CO2 all graphed for minute to minute details. Let's put an end to this. 1st off the bat: AN versus House and Garden. AN versus Canna. AN versus Atami. AN versus what I can make in my back shed. Given we already have an AN versus GH those are my choices. So guys - you all come to these threads. If you have faith in your lines its time to put up or shut up. Anyone prepared to supply free nutes for the trial? If so, hit me with pms.

It was labeling issues. Some of the ferts weren't weighing out as to what they say on the bottles. They took everything off the shelves and replaced them with all new product that same day. The only thing they haven't gotten to us in the SensiZym which has to go through a reformulation for Cali...

That's odd - I heard a very different story from others.
