100% Organic Pineapple Express

Greetings again fellow growers so here is my new thread for the 3rd run here with the Pineapple Express. It is a sativa hybrid that has a great smell to it even when in veg. I have seen the medicine and it has huge colas. Here is one that I have already began to flower in a 3 Gal pot fed with organic High P guano Tea.

And here are the ladies getting ready to be flipped. They have been vegging for 3 weeks. I have been feeding EWC Tea for the first 2 weeks, also the soil was amended with Kelp Meal 1-0-2 so that usually takes care of the first two weeks. These ladies are in 5 Gal Smart Pots and I will be feeding them a High N Guano Tea tonight or tomorrow. Then in a week or less they will be moved into the flowering room. Here are a couple photos.

And here is some veggies we have started getting ready for the spring so we can plant these beauties.

I decided I didn't want to wait 10 days for clones anymore, so I built an EZ Cloner, Luckily I am have alot of spare parts since I am not using the Hydro System anymore. I am gonna use a huge commercial airpump to supply air to multiple raised buckets with drains for the Guano and Compost Teas. Along with those veggies we are planning on doing 8-10 plants outdoors in 50 to 100 gal smart pots. All this is coming into fruition. Alot of planning and preparation to set up a decent outdoor grow. I have been reading about alfalfa tea alot so I am kinda of interested and might be trying this soon. Stay tuned for some nuggets!!

wooowoooooow, i am def subscrubed. this looks awesome man. love your genetics selection too!! your ez cloner doesn;t look all that easy haha. what kinda lights will you be flowering with man?? did i miss that up there, my bad if so....great job again. plus Rep.

Matanuskan Flo- Thanks alot man. The Ez-Cloner was a pretty easy put together and the roots start popping in three days, so you make the decision of whether it is easy or not. I will be flowering these ladies under 1k HPS ready to rock.

Darksith- I see where you are coming from but this strain seems to be totally unique. The pineapple Express didn't just come from no where. Someone actually created these genes and named it that so I think this particular cut is worthy of being called Pineapple Express. My source of genetics is reliable so I trust that it is what they call it.

How long does it take to crossbread a couple strains, isolate the genes your looking for, and cross them enough times to stabalize them so when you cross any 2 plants your get a majority of seeds that will produce plants that show the same characteristics of the parents? More than a couple years! So was the movie named after the strain?

This is my big problem these days with all the new strains that you buy from seedbanks, and just hearing people throwing names out left and right. So many strains out there are complete BULLSHIT, and so many seedbanks are selling absolute crap. I know this from experience, and I hear about it all the time from lots of different reliable sources.

Now Im not saying that someone didn't have a strain in the works maybe, and then saw the movie and decided to take the name, but Im willing to bet that most of the strains out there are complete bs, haven't been stabalized and don't produce what their founder intentioned, and the movie was not written about the strain you have today.

Im sorry to make this post, but every once in a while I need to vent about getting burned from another seed company/bank. Thats why I grow from clone only and from a very reliable source. The seeds I buy are simply for fun and like hunting, you may get 1 outta 1000 that is worth a penny, but they are out there, and if you get that 1 then you are set.

abitavenger- Thanks alot:thank you:, the first pic is about 4 weeks in flower. It was root bound in a one gallon pot for a month and a half, then transferred into the 3 Gallons a day before she was put into flower. She is moving right along. I will post some nice close ups of her in a few days.

Rysam- Thank you man I have seen this nugget grown and it is unbelievable great yielder, great smell, I did get to smoke any though so I don't know how stony this cut really is, I am guessing it is good.

Fraggle Rock
and LiveWire- Thank you blessings, I will keep you guys up to date. In about 3-6 days I should be switching them over to 12/12 in the flowering room. You will be there every step of the way

Darksith- I can totally agree with you about the strain confussion thing. There is tons of crazy names and plants being passed around that are not worthy of any name or being passed around. I don't know the history of this cut so I wouldn't be able to say for sure, but one thing I do know is that it is a super vigourous plant and the bud is potent and exceptional so I will see in about a month that lady in the first pic is almost ready, Yea!! Vent, Breathe, Release.

Well it's time for an Update!!!

I finally got the hydro harvested completely and cleaned up, :woohoo:. So I have transferred the ladies into the flower room and they are off with one more day of 18 hr light and then boom into 12/12. I am now feeding these ladies for the next two weeks High N-P Sea Bird Guano for the transition. Then to the High P Bat Guano for the rest of the flower cycle. The plants again have responded so well to this organic feed I am completely satisfied. Here are the girls in there new home.

Darksith, do you really think that most of the seeds one can order from seedbanks are not worth it? I am new to growing, but the first plant I grew from the seeds I ordered turned out to be some of the best Ive ever smoked. Did I just get lucky?
