just trying to see what ya peeps think on that name. (Aurora)

ive loved that name for the longest...never knew anyone w/ it ... and now that we might have a girl im still lovin it...so is my wife.

what are good nics for that name?...all i can figure is 'Rory'...or somethin like that.

we love the name cus of the n-lights (aurora borealis)...NOT for aurora colorado...lol

if its a boy we havent got many ideas...i like 'taj'...i dont think she does...i also like 'nyjah' (after the skater kid) nyjah huston.

any ideas?

Flobee
or Horseradish


Or whatever the hell people names their kids now'adays. The name you give your baby girl is the name that's going to shape her life or RUIN it. If your son is named "Superman", which idiots have named their kids, then that puts a hinder on their school life, their social life, their work life, and sets them back. Christopher is a name. Kristafer is the same name but you don't need to do all that to add personality to the kid.

I love Aurora, that's a great name.

Being around Motor City....Aurora sounds like an Oldsmobile to me. Who said stripper up there? Hahaha....strippers can't spell that!! I think it's pretty sounding, but not so feminine. It's your son or daughter and the closer you get to meeting him/her, you'll have a better idea what names you like.

I like the name Grace...it's timeless and feminine. I would try to avoid names with "ie" or "y" on the end...they sound more like a nickname.
