thanks Lebniis. the bubba is smellin up my place right now -- can't wait til she's dry and in my bowl. well, wormcastings in veg -- yes. still nothing else, but the molasses per gallon. i was running the Budswell (that is the name-brand) guano in bloom and nothing else...

but the stuff is a bit high-end. worth it -- if you have the start-up capitol -- since i do not, i had to go switch to a more economic strategy. anyway, since i had to go on the cheap, i went with the timeless classic:

ahhh shit. lol gotta love the age-old. veg version works great too, if you don't have access to quality wormcastings. just go on the absolute lowest end of the spectrum recommended on the bottle, and you will never have a worry. i burned my girls once upon a time trying to force the stuff, so be fairwarned things can get hot if you push it.

also, i purchased a bottle of Snowstorm Ultra to danken this up (i just made up that word i think -- boo-yah)

that is it so far. i picked up a bottle of Gravity too, for the finishing. need a little weight boost

give it a shot, man. always follow the directions on the bottle, and always be a little short on nutes rather than a little strong. good luck

hiya sanchez, thanks for the pm my bad for not getting back already. i thought they definitely looked cool and am intrigued with the concept, but right now cost and efficiency are my driving factors -- I work full time and have a pretty busy life beyond that, so the convenience of throwing bags of dirt away instead of dumping them out and cleaning... plus the number of plants that i roll (not that it is huge, but i do smaller ones so i need more containers), it just wouldn't be feasible. would cost me 1-200 to get set up with the containers, and with a perpetual system it would always be cleaning and reusing. more work. which is what i don't need. lol

thanks though -- everyone take a look at those smart pots if you geta chance. maybe sanchez will post the link in a reply (feel free bro)

hey everyone so the first bubba was ridiculously strong. that was day 56. the next one to come down -- the finale of this thread -- is now at day 65. i'm going to wait it out, i think, but she is so amazingly purple and curling with resin... can't imagine what the high is going to be. and these are crossed with deep chunk lol t, i bet that pre-98 is so couch-lock you can't even begin to try and think.

on a different note, the skunk haze are killlling it. also on day 65. put on a ton of weight over the last week, so i'll probably take what's left of them (had to get a few lower nug samples tonight hehe) through mid-70's. very stinky and huge and just looking great. the biggest yielder is the frostiest, too. can't beat it. (thanks again silent friend who hooked me up with the genetics :friends

hi cali, i had two phenos of the bubba -- one came down at day 56 -- and was strong as shit, just smoked a purple bowl now lol -- the other is danker and purpler and going til day 70. thanks for the post !

so... it might be nice to have a father who is a lawyer or a senator or something like that, but sometimes it is nice to have a father who has an electricians degree. gotta hand it to my old man; just got done setting up some new outlets so i don't have to run extension cords everywhere. very professional-looking work! while he was at it he showed me how to test to make sure the right fuse is shut off and change my wall outlets from the older 2-prong to a 3-prong. still no ground wire available, but looks much nicer and easier to use. not that hard a concept either. good stuff.

hey dr. dog and knowledge -- thanks for the last posts, sorry been awhile since i checked the site.

well everyone, i had some plans in the works to switch living arrangements. now i'm not sure that is going to happen. i was about to go legit -- i grow because i use it for medicine (disabled vet) and also because i'm trying to save my house from foreclosure -- had a couple of roommates lined up to help with the mortgage, and was about to refi my loan and all to get things in order. then i took a look at the numbers and realized it was financial suicide to pay what i would have had to pay (banks might as well be fucking my girlfriend with what they make off me...).

so you know what? fuck it. i tried. i have a college education, worked all my life, and done everything you are "supposed" to do to have a decent situation in life. life had other plans. so now i'm doing it my way. keep an eye out for future posts. luckily i didn't throw out all my babies.

Skunk Haze (turned out to be one of the best all-around pheno's i've ever seen, even with a 10-11 week bloom)

Bubba Kush x Deep Chunk (purple as hell, and strong as any other bubba i've ever smoked. great job Cannacopia!)

Viper x Trainwreck (got a good pheno out of last round of seeds, but if i am lucky i may even get access to my previous pheno that was simply monstrous)

Cherry Haze (this might even be a Trainwreck cross, too -- either way it is a good producer and one of my favorite highs)

Government Mule (G13 x Deep Chunk -- another Cannacopia strain. i have some beans so might as well pop them.)
