Hey this looks real good and clean.

Thats right about my watering thing too...Heads/Rez formula...used to add liquid karma now trying Florilicious plus. Like you I have have cal mag ready...actually pretty much what you got there :)

So are you hand watering or is this some flood and drain type of thing? Whats up w/ the recycling timer?

Looking good can't wait to see how it turns out!

Thanks! Nice its a great mix. Been using Lucas formula for years, been liking Head's formula though. The floralicious plus is a great all in one additive.

I'm doing drain to waste. I finally put in my dripper manifold (pico's) a few days ago for flower, before that I was hand watering. Have 45 degree angle stakes that I connected the drip lines to. Wasn't sure about the 45 degree stakes but they seem to pressurize the manifold well so I get even drips all around.

Whats up w/ the recycling timer?
EDIT: Thats for the drip waterings, best recycling timer on the market too. Digital and doesn't cost much more than the dial cyclestats, great addition with the photocell too.

Update:
Just switched out my digital ballast for a magnetic ballast due to RF interference as well as the ballast trying to re-strike, which I assume was from too much heat since that feature is built into the ballast. The RF interference actually will mess with my PH meter, so its nice to be able to read that again. I called Hanna and they said they can put something in there to stop this from happening, I believe he called it a capacitor.

Day time temps are around 70, and night time temps have been as low as 48. Which is a little lower than I would like, but I will trip my breakers if I use the heater on the same breaker as my lights. So I need to get a 4th timer to help with this.

Nice set up bro. Got one just like it..Original diesel is a great smoke. It doesn't yield that well, but it makes up for it in quality...

OP

Hey CTHC, sweet looking setup. Could you elaborate on your feeding cycles? How much RTW, how long do the drippers run, how much volume waste? Just the details, si vous plait!

Thanks, yeah one of my favorite smokes for sure, been growing it for some time now.

Its not that bad of a yielder, the buds resemble (mss x nl) dominance more than they do the chem 91, which is where she gets her size. Although the burnt tire smell is from mss and the potent fuel smell is definitely chem 91. Definitely a special strain and will keep it in my collection for good.

Thanks, my feeding cycles have increased to watering twice a day, may even have to increase to three times a day soon since the pots have been drying out a bit more than I'd like.

My run to waste stays very minimal, I use to water coco with runoff. But I started watering without runoff and I like it better.

The drippers will stay on for porbably about 20-30 seconds maybe, not sure yet since my cycle timer for the drip system isn't set up yet, probably do that today actually. The 45 degree angle stakes create a pressure buildup more than they did when I used just straight dripper line, so waterings take longer than they have in the past.

I have a DIY 2 gal Ebb controller bucket that will pump the waste water into a 5 gallon bucket which I dump every 2 weeks or so, so not much runoff as you can see.

Grabbing a chair................ :D

Cool, I'll try to keep you interested.

Thanks man, good luck yourself as well.

badass drip ring u made

Thanks works great but Pico gets all the credit he's the one that designed the great tool.

Update: Plants are right where they should be at 16 days in.

There's no need for 3 waterings during lights on, they're doing fine with 2 waterings. Should be done stretching here real soon, even though they didn't stretch much. Cold nights helped keep stretch down, but may have slowed transition to flower a bit as well, nothing serious though.

Here's some more recent pics, when the 600 was just turning on:

2/25- 14 days Flower w/ 61 days to go

2/27- 16 days Flower w/ 59 days to go

Aerocloner results after 8 days (other strains):

Looks very nice bro. Clean n tidy... they need to start shipping that sentinel over here.

Thanks, clean n tidy is the goal. Thats a bummer you can't get it where you are.

Very nice set up Amigo! The manifold for the drip lines is a great touch. I will pull a seat for the rest of the trip. Grow on.

Peace,

crtoker

ment to ask you what size pots are you using there. Look like about 1 gal?

If that Ozone is running inside your room, you're going to end up with buds that have no smell. At least that's the accepted wisdom on the matter, never ran one myself.

Looking good, hope you knock it out of the park..

Nah, I have read that in a thread. I've been using that unit on a timer for 6 years, and didn't use one before that for a few years, never noticed any difference. To ensure this also, I have friends that don't use them and their bud isn't any different from mine.

Thanks, me too man!

Update: Pretty sure the stretch is done by now, the bud sites are starting to form and the formation of THC glands is starting. Right where they should be at this time.

EC: 1.6
Day Temp: 72
Night Temp: 61

Some pics are with light off and some with 600 watt coming on.

Yeah we are, how long do yours flower for? My harvest is going to be right after 4/20. Thanks man, I'm sure we both will.

So the accepted wisdom is untrue regarding ozone? That would be great news.

From my point of view yeah. Although do you have a specific thread about this, so I can see what these other people are talking about?
