why not just 1 plant ?

I wish 35g could last me 5 months... More like a week and a half, maybe 2.

I love big plants, but I'd definitly have more than 1. If that 1 plant dies I'd be back to paying club prices.

grow lights suck at growing a plant big enough to make up for the yield of having many smaller ones

you want big plants. grow outdoors

you simply cant imagine how wrong you are

go soil 400w hps i plant 90liters pot and you in a hell of a harvest

go horizontial scrog and you ll have some incrdible results provided temps are right and you can get close focus and trully use the light produced

there are alot of things that can happen indoors also,


neglect a bug problem and you could have all the plants roots eaten off,

in greece its extremely rare to get root bugs if u have used commercial quality soil

After a few seed runs I'm definitely planning on doing single plant grows. I've seen a single plant under a 400w get 1lb. I figure with 1-2 months of veg and lots of LST, I should be able to come close to that.

my last grow of 1 plant gave me 35g of dried bud
5 months of vaping, and i still have bud left
vape twice a day to boot, looks like i use 1 gram a week
helps that i grew a strong indica
more a medical user so tolerance isn't so much an issue
but this is good for me, understand there's a lot of folks that need more than 1 plant
but for some of us, 1 plant can be enough

that is very true and that is 1 of the points that i wanna stress out

if you go only 1 plant its a very good techique of self control,in order to succed that you must stay of the nicotine, nicotine+mj can be AN EXTREMELY OVERWHELMING HABBIT for some ppl-my self included

also an other very good result is that only 1plant=no dealling or just some extremely close friends

growing to deal sucks

gives so much "stress"that you cant enjoy the homegrown high

an ideal single plant soil scrog with perpetual havest

i bet it could pull 1lb mabe not the 1st time but the 2nd or 3rd

my point is really to do even less

smth like aim for 6-8ounces

and max quality, its so much easier to get that in a single plant grow provided u have the required experience

One plant is fine, if you don;t want variety, but it gives you a single point of failure, lose your one, you have none. It is a plan, but not a reliable supply plan, given the growth cycles.

The multiple harvest crap is marketing, it can be made to work, but is not a reliable method, and is mostly bullshit.

That's the point... in most places, it's not the same crime at all.

And to all the people talking about plants dying... first, it makes me question your growing skills. Marijuana is by no means a hard plant to grow. It can be hard to grow to it's maximum potential, but do all you people mentioning it really lose plants on a regular basis? If that's an issue for you... then yeah, I would definitely avoid flowering 1 plant at a time.

Just think, with 2 or 3 moms kept real small, you could keep yourself supplied with 2-3 strains at all times if you worked it right.

I run more than 1 just cause variety is the spice of life - 1 plant = 1 strain . . .

I understand both sides, and don't think there's a clear winner. There is never (at least I've never seen) one right path for everyone, but there is almost always 1 right path for each 1 particular individual/group . . .

doing a simple calculation of 2 oz per plant
2 oz versus 40 oz is big difference where i am(NY)
goes from a class B misdemeanor(max 3 months prison) up to class C felony(maybe worse, not exactly sure on precise amounts, but it is a felony)
max prison time goes up into years, quite a difference
