Well I think my Kush plants like 85degrees. I think my veg plants are more than doubling every week. Tomorrow an ESCD is picked an another BBB goes into the flower room. Thee BBB is in the back left corner and is about 36" tall. The tape measure is set at 36" from the top of the planters. It looks like I am reaching my goal of vegging them to 3' before flowering. Perpetual trees for me :smokey:

How long do you veg your trees?

Well that is an oft asked question of me, and my answer is I veg them until they are 30 - 36". Well 2010 has a nice start to it. Here is a shot of my very favorite veg plant on Jan 7, from there I vegged her until Jan 31. Feb 1 was the first day in flower.

I think she had been in the veg room for a week before that photo, so the answer is I vegged her for 31days. I guess if done right one month veg, two month flower = one LB+ tree? She is only starting her 14th day of 12/12 and 42" tall. My guess is she'll be 50" once she starts packing on the colas and spreading herself out. My thought is that she is 4' across, if so she is 12.5square feet in diameter. Can I finally get back to the pounders?

that super lemon haze should be nice. just hope it leans toward the lemon skunk side or it may take forever to flower. I had an ssh pheno that went 20 weeks.

Hydrosun: Thanks man - very good of you. Seems like my mate was right after all though. Sirsmokalot is right I guess - flush like crazy and there's not much for the plant to be using/storing in the first place. Handy to know this stuff though. Your trees are looking mighty fine indeed man. I've been searching the strain directory for PK seeds too - can't find a vendor. Were you given some cuttings or did you purchase beans and germ?

SirSmokalot and Opt1c: about chopping in the dark, thanks guys. Interesting stuff. Something I never considered and glad to know it :)

The big plant that I said had 31 day veg was the top of PK seed from the last Dungeon run. I'd have to go check the posts to see when I filped the Dungeon last, then I could tell exactly what day I cut the top to make that plant. However for the most part I don't consider time spend in the nursery as veg time. In a perpetual system like mine there is always something waiting to move up, and there seems to be a few lagers as well. Veg size is more important to me than veg time, but a healthy PK once rooted through a rock wool cube can go from 6" to 36" in a month or less.

BG: I top them off with my 50% flower mix and PH adjust daily, PPMs in flower now around 1,000. PPM in veg now 850

Aflud: I got this cut 6 years ago or so and have passed the cut to many an ICmager. I wouldn't be surprised if you see beans available in a year or two ;)

HZ: I am hoping for 60day max out of the SLH and I am hoping for great smoke for my head stash, but looking at her grow side by side with my PK, I doubt SLH will be taking up more than one spot every so often in the garden.

Unc: Just living the dream and about to spark up the PK :smokey:

You got the biggest bushes. Big ass hedges. Nothing grows em like DWC. I'd do it if I had a chiller.

Ah fuck! I fucking knew it :D Guess I'll just have to be content to watch you and your beauties so. 'Sall good. I'll go with some sort of Kush though - looks like they love this tree business.

p.s. what was that you were saying about the Moon and sugars? Shit man - been at this years now and still some of this shit is news to me :D

makes sense, I was just baffled to see a plant that big after only 1 month from roots. the perpetual definetely adds some extra elements to it all. veg size moreover than veg time for sure when big plants are the goal

prefer nice spice-bottle trunks before flower. much longer veg, in coco+perlite/hydroton/etc... but ok to wait for bark before make redwood.

diy ladscape fabric bags (~7-8 gal), in huge trough. no run-off ever dumped... 1-x plant;)... 5.0-6.2 ph input (depends). 1.0-3.0 ec (depends on maturity)... gh ferts/amends. fed ~5-10 gal/1-2 day, wand. 2k-3k, bare bulb, vert. 80-88*f day/75-80*f night. ~5+ gal dehumidified/24hr... turbulent+laminar airflow/24hr...

after run 4 gal, 5 gal, diy 7 gal... same cut over/over/etc... maybe get how much exact fert+water need.
maybe next moment, aboandon individual container altogether...

just portable pool/large trough (100+ gal) & mono-crop grllz... maybe max 2 plant/1k...

would be nice to get down to 1-4.... in 1 big container... encompassing entire room... w/ just enough (12") to maintenance around edge...

A crappy movie title but not so far from my redemption. Actually in 7 days I'll get rid of my 18 gal tub and be on to my 20's. I bet I get 1.5lbs from a 18gal tub new record possibility. We'll see next week. But today was an ESCD.
