I thought Santa Cruz O.G. was a good Bubba Kush from so cal. Never heard it was crossed with anything. "must have crossed it" sounds like the start of a roomer that will spread & then we will have yet another lemon larry og tahoe valley cut elite seed clone.

Thanks for the info. That sounds like what I remember the tender at Harborside saying. He said that somebody in Santa Cruz went down to So Cal and brought back really good kush to Santa Cruz. Must have crossed it with something and gave it the name. Makes sense to me - thanks again!

really not trying to stir things up in here. really. just straightening things out. i love and grow the chem from good karma. its provenance as '91 chem is somewhat disputed. as far as i know it came from the Lepp farm and it bears NO resemblance to chem 4 or chem d. saying that it's legit '91 chem is a-whole-nother-matter. is it skunkva? picture evidence from others tend to lead me to believe not. is it docta's '91? or apothecary '91? i have no idea. as i said, i just love it and grow it. that is all. merry christmas:thanks:. end transmission.
We dont know what cut the Chem Dawg from Good Karma is. Its a nice one as far as chem dawg goes and has been popular with great grow reports and we have had the medicine often.. We were told it was the 91 when the vendor brought it but I dont know what cut it is.. I'm certainly not a chem dawg expert and we dont pretent its the skunkva.
Peace and love and Happy New Year!

Great thread - I have been following and am just now FINALLY able to post.

I picked up a Casey Jones and Santa Cruz OG clone from Harborside at the end of November. Both have been vegging for about a month and are looking good (casey is already a bit stinky - in veg! so I hope thats a sign of good things to come). Does anyone have any experience with the Santa Cruz OG from Harborside? They had flowers as well but they called them Santa Cruz Kush (not OG like the clone) - so not sure if the flowers they had that I purchased are the same as the clone I got?

Anyway, this is my second grow. First one I made the 6 hour round trip drive up to Clearlake. This time I decided to save a ton of time and give harborside a shot.

Hi, BK! It's great to see you here...hope you don't forget to drop by again as your grow advances. I'd love to get your opinions!

My Casey Jones from Blue Sky was cut down today. 63 days and a very good yield much like the white widow that BS had. Lots of stretch for the 1st couple weeds but she really packed it on in the last few weeks. Nice citrus smell that stunk up my place while I trimmed. Drying for a few days then into cure. I've decided to reveg her based on yeild alone.

Great info so far-trying to learn about some strains I picked up a little time back-currently;

Bluesky--cotton candy & green candy
Good Karma--purple fire,lavender,jilly bean,pineapple punch,pineapple romulan
Harborside--grape punch,blue moon rocks,purple candy
Fort Bragg--northern lights blueberry, blueberry lights(not the same as NLBB), purple lemonade, blackberry with a side of spider mites(BORG)

keep up the good work everyone

Will do Don - I have this thread bookmarked!

I am still in veg with both of the cuts from Harborside. Casey Jones is vegging like crazy. I am running a scrog - Casey is already growing up through the screen and the screen is already about 75% filled on that side. Still need the OG to catch up with her (side shoots have not reached the screen yet). Probably at least another week of veg (if not two) to go. BTW, I am in soil and using all Fox Farms line of nutes.

The WW I've experienced from BSky - currently in progress - is lacking in triches and has so far been unimpressive. The mother was probably developed very quickly to meet demand, and they (BS) must have just grown her only to pistil before quickly cranking out more clones.

But I'd love to try the good cut someday!

Well, I clearly remember a guy on the BAC thread commenting on a BMR he'd gotten from Harborside quite some time ago - he said it was one of the best he'd ever experienced.

Unfortunately, though, as we all know, reports can get meaningless after enough time has passed.

Excellent, excellent...:):):) I love to see authentic, honest reviews of strains and cuts.

LOL..Yes, I can just imagine the Casey versus an OG during veg. :)That sounds like a real sweet harvest, though.

Man, hearing you and kno3brook talking about CJ really puts her on my radar. I am a true believer :):)

Going purple

Going purple

Well I've finally given myself over to growing purple. Hit up Harborside for their Purple Kush, Candy Purple, Soma's Lavender,Grape Punch, Super Grape Ape and Purps clones. Blue Sky for their SR-71 Purple Kush and Sour Grapes. Then BPG for Grandaddy Purple and Purple Diesel. Pretty amazing for just a couple of days running around. Only picked up a couple of each but will hold back babies of each until I find what I like.

I wouldn't buy any clones from any club, because there is NO exclusivity. If you can get it, so can ANYONE, and they probably already have.

There's a guy in Oakland who is a breeeder and sells clones on Craigslist, very exclusive cuts and every cut I've gotten from him is amazing. Lots of diesel crosses and Cham Dawgs, kushes, purples, and none of it available at any club.

Powdery Mildew, common in rooms where the humidity is too high due to lack of dehumidifiers and fans. Treat with sulfur burners or Safers Disease control spray.

Powdery Mildew is in the air all around you, it is on the food you bring home from the market. It's not necessarily the same aggressive p.m. that you can get, but it's still around. The best stuff that is easy to get and won't make you sick imho is serenade. Second best is sulfer burners. Third is a high ph spray or garlic oil.

Once pm is on a leaf there is no way to completely remove it using organics. You can control it, beat it down, make it not show it's evil head, but it's still there. Think of it like herpes, you get it for life! An outbreak now doesn't mean you won't get a cold sore later.

anyone know where to get BLUE DREAM, or MANGO cuts in the sf bay area?

I was going to make a run up to oakland then berkeley, then hit SF on the way back to the southbay looking for some new stock, but if you guys KNOW where to get either of these that would save lots of running about

this forum is awesome as usual
