Yeah the Afghani cross beans have been drying for almost 2 weeks now. I think after another week I will throw them into the fridge for a couple of weeks and test the germ rate.

More TW X ChemD on the bay

Just seen some more of these beans listed on the bay auction. If anyone is looking for some solid genetics, I could vouch for them. I sampled some of the second pheno tonight, 3 good bong hits and I am pretty blasted. Execellent yeild on the second pheno as well, I don't have a scale but I would imagine close to 48 grams dried/cured.

I made some ArcataTW X Wonder Diesel and some Rez Sour Dieselbx1.5 X Wonder Diesel.
a few months back just never got around to sending them in YET.
Will try to send them in before I take off for vacation.

Have some Mr. Nice SSH beans going now if I find a good male will do a cross with the same moms.

That WD cross sounds really nice BM. I had a really nice pheno of the WD about a year back. It is still being passed around here in my area. Can't wait to see those hit the bay.

Thanks for coming by and the comments but I am just learning the breeding part myself. This was only the second time I have done this successfully. The bean part of this grow was really not planned, a friend just happen to have that male Afghani flowering at just the right time. I would go check out the Breeders Laboratory here in IC. They have most all the information you need for bean making.

Trainwreck X Chem DD Pheno #1

Mini smoke report

The first pheno has an slight sweet lemon smell from a freshly broken up bud (I suck something terrible at describing aroma). The taste is about on par with the aroma and has a pretty smooth draw. The effect is where this one shines through. This one has quite a bit of creeper in the high. It takes a good 10 minutes or so to get the full effect after smoking. It has more of a sativa effect for the first hour or so before mellowing into a indica body stone. Overall it has a slightly more sativa effect but still a very balanced one.

Very high quality herb. I am very happy that I made some F2's of these!! Good job BM.

Trainwreck X Chem DD Pheno #2

I believe this pheno to be more TW leaning than the other based on the info I have received from BM and from other grows I have read on the TW. The aroma does have a slight menthol-citrus and you get even more of a menthol on the tase. The effect is not a creeper like the #1 pheno but comes on almost immediately. The effect is an balanced but mostly "up" high for around 40 minutes and mellows to a nice body effect.

What a great pheno this one was. Big yeilder, pretty easy to grow, was not too finicky on the nutes and ends up having a great stone to it. I enjoy this much better than the Diesel's I have grown out the last couple of years. I am so happy that I choose this one to do some beans with. I am excited to see what it will do with the Afghani tossed into it.

Well I got 6 out of 8 of the beans to pop just by throwing them in the soil. I kept 2 of the better looking ones and am going to see how they do.

About 2 more weeks and these seeded TW X Chem F2's should be finished.

I used both female phenos and 2 different males to make these so I am thinking that I should have a good pheno variety in the mix.

Yea tw is usually nice in a cross. I ran some urkle x tw(f4 male) awhile back that was real nice. i also have some tw f7 beans that are an attempt to put the arcata cut in seed form, they pretty much nailed it down now, the males from that batch should be great. Keep up the good work buddy
