Rains came, and mold had already been an issue... Decision was made to pull the plug and get these gals out of the rain... Tents are not exactly waterproof, but they work... A few well placed branches kept the tent on the ground and kept the plants up off of it...

Once the sun came out, it began to get nice and breezey... Winter was blowing in... Perfect contitions for a quick, but not too quick dry...

Thanks guys! Mold was a bit worse this year, but the good thing is, now I feel a little more experienced with it and better prepared for future seasons...

Not sure whats going to be planted next year... Still all in the works.. :chin:

We appreciate seeing "real world" photos of outdoor gardens.

Dead leaves, spots, and insect damage just happen, and it's never pretty.

So many growers are confined to their basements & closets.

Most have never seen how the plant reacts to its' surroundings.

Here's an item that might be helpful, available online from Home Depot:

Internet/Catalog # 100656490

Wish we had these back in the day ... .

Just the thing for all sorts of occasional chores.

By the way, do you ever use screened bottom-boards?

Thanks, bass! I just show it how it is... Its a shame so may are unfamiliar with the plant in its natural setting.. :smoke:

Not sure if I could use a dolly like that.. Its pretty tough to access these areas.. Lots of brush and hills to hike through... I would definately use it for the veggie garden !

Screened bottom boards in the coldframe? if so, no, just skids...

Hiking the hills, gullies, and creek-beds, is a given.

It could be useful, but the terrain dictates in the end.

Was making reference to the hives. ... ; )
