I FINALLY picked up some Rez genes! Woohoo!!! Took awhile I know, but I got it...

I never gave a smoke report on the Apollo 11, my bad!!!

Here is goes, if ya'll have any questions, fire away...

Apollo 11 is EXCELLENT daytime smoke. If you are looking for something to knock you on your ass and put you to bed, this is NOT for you. If you're looking for some inspiration, like to paint, like to get outside and enjoy nature or engage in discussion, this IS for you!!! I find myself speaking for a LONG time after puffing on Apollo and engaging in deep conversation with my friends. I love it. Growing Apollo 11 was great, it's a very low maintenance and forgiving. The smell of Apollo 11 while it's growing is kind of like a lemon cleaner, lemon pine-sol. It loses a lot of its smell however once dried. Cured Apollo smells ok, but it's def not super funk by any means. I like funky weed and the lack of smell put me off a little. Apollo is also lacking a little in the taste arena. It doesn't taste bad at all, but it's not Sour Diesel either. Just nothing to write home about, not much of a taste at all. The bag appeal is VERY NICE! It sparkles so pretty in the sunlight. It's not as pretty as LUI, but it looks VERY NICE all nugged up! Now for the most important part, the High. The high...the high...you just can't beat it. ZERO and I mean ZERO paranoia, which is great for me because I smoke because of anxiety issues. It will make you happy, def not a downer. Overall, Apollo 11 is great great great fantastic smoke. I smoke it everyday. I will keep this running in my cabinet for years to come.

Geez tb4u, in my opinion thats the perfect report on A11. If I could write
a decent smoke report that would have been mine. Well worth growing
if your not on the quest for the notoriously missing "one hit wonder".
Never smoked a one hit wonder in a 35 year smoking career. I personally
like to keep functioning after I smoke - got things to do. I paint and draw
and design and I enjoy inspirational type smoke. I also felt this plant was
much better from clone by the third generation and improves even more
with a 2 month or better cure but what doesn't, lol. One of my girlz even
finished in 7 wks but was the lowest in yield and flavor. Excellent
report tb4u. Have you seen the "smoke report" form? Looks like something
from the IRS. LOL! When I see those I don't even read them, too
complicated. Can't imagine a stoner using that thing.
On another note, I have 5 Joey Weed C99 f2 girlz @ 5 wks flower and
coming along nicely. Very impressed with the uniformity of this plant. All
the girlz are very similar in structure with a lot less stretch than jlp's or
Wally's C99. Very impressed with this so far.

NS!!! Thanks for stopping by! Yeah, I've been by the Smoke Report forum before. And you're right, that "form" is intimidating! That was one reason it took me so long to do a smoke report, I was trying to decide if I wanted to fill out the tedious questionnaire or just say screw it.I obviously said screw it, lol. I've been wanting to pickup some Joey Weed C99 for breeding, but I am not a fan of "racy" highs. I wonder how C99 would pair up with something narcotic...say LUI??? Who knows. And you pointed out an issue I am running into now, in the veg room at least. I can't get everything to fit!!! Looks like I've got to build another box...Oh and remember when I PMed you about that cross I made and I was debating chopping? So glad I did not chop, the buds are bigger than my forearm. I am sending 150 of those beans into SBay, pics to come...

Here are some new shots of Apollo 11 in the CFL Growdrobe. These are at 21 days in flowering. 1 gallon plastic water jugs. FloraNova nutes w/Fox Farm tri-pack (Open Sesame, Beastie Blooms and eventually Cha-Ching). Also using Cal-Mag since I water with RO water, FloraNectar as my sweetener and Diamond Nectar to help with nutrient uptake and overall plant vigor. Looking GREAT!

Yeah T-Bug, I'm still alive! LOL! I've actually got a new thread with my stealth dresser build. Not really a grow thread but more of a DIY build, it was fun. I'm working on a PC grow case for a friend now, I'll have that up in a few days as well. Nice to see you around buddy, what you got going on now?

Daaayum! Those are some frosty ass girls! Great job TBug, you always impress me. My DIY dresser build is the first link in my sig. I've decided to stick with this thread and post pics of my girls as I go along. Planning on making some moves soon into a nice space in a med state. I'm going to apply to become a caregiver & patient. I will, of course, continue to run Apollo 11 The pheno I kept I'm in love with, I am going to run this strain for a very long time (I hope). I'm thinking of adding Sensi Star to the mix, I need a nice, heavy indica. That or Bubba Kush Pre 98 or somethin, I'm not sure yet. Anyway, check out my girls:



Here are 3 of my girls from the cab, there are a total of 23 in here...



I'm running one clone in a #1 smart pot. So far I'm really diggin this smart pot except for the salt buildup on the outside of the pot. I think the salt has come from it sitting on the floor and wicking up the runoff. Going to get a saucer to sit this girl in today. This clone is 21" tall, who says we can't grow dank buds under CFLs???

What up GroWilla,

Got my CO2 setup from Pet Solutions. It slowly disperses CO2 over time (30 days to be exact). Warm water, sugar, "activator" packet that comes with the CO2 set (looks like yeast to me) and a "stabilizer" packet. Mix it together in the container and hook up the hose to the fan and wa la! CO2 for 30 days

The dresser or Ikea CFL cab? Guessing the IKEA cab, but I will list info for both.

Ikea cab holds 24-1 gallon plastic containers.

The dresser holds 20-32oz gatorade bottles with the tops cut off.

I've been doing a test with a #1 smart pot. The smart pot takes up more space than my 1 gallon square containers, but it looks as if it will yield much more than my 1 gallon plastic containers. I've decided to run my entire next round in #1 air pots. I should be able to fit 20 of those in the cab. Have you heard of those? They're a little pricey ($4 each), but will be well worth it in the end. Check them out if you've got the extra $$$ to spend.

Saw you were an Apollo grower in your sig, and I must agree w/ nuggetshiner, that's a spot-on review!

Been a long time fan of A11. When I read Bros. Grimm's description, I knew it was for me. I've grown a lot of different strains since, but high-wise, it's my all-around fav.
Cool to see it in a cab, always thought it the perfect strain for small grows, the way the branches are so pliable and takes so well to SCROGing.
I look forward to seeing how your #1 Smartpots & Airpots do for you.
I bought the #2 Smart pots and the 3.8 Air pots.
Anyway, expect to see me around!
