Ah I forgot. These nepalese landrace seeds are very very small and I always have problems with germination rate and also germination time maybe scratching with sandpaper would help, but how to hold these small beans?
any ideas ?

Yes ive noticed the nepal landrace beans i have are tiny the smallest seeds ive ever seen infact,,,Ganjabruada get a matchbox line the inside of it with sand paper and put your seeds inside then shake the matchbox i usualy do it for about a minute then check the seeds then pop them into a cup of water let them soak for 24 hours or more then i use the paper towel method...hope this helps...

I didn't seem to have any problems getting the seeds to germinate.
The problem I found (lost 3 beans) was that I needed to do surgery to remove the seed husk.
I wasn't familiar with needing to do this and waited too long for some of them to survive.
I have two plants growing today.
Same went with the Ethiopian seeds but, I was aware of the need and was more alert to jumping in so I had 3 of 3 survive.

What also might help is the use of Humic Acid. This seems to stimulate germination of those tiny seeds.

BTW beautifull pics of the Nepal environment.

I don't know if Gibberellic Acid is useful for germination. It is used for making fem seeds.
What you can do is to put the seeds for one week in the fritz and than soak them in a Humic Acid solution (5 ml/l) for 24-48 hrs till the seeds are on the bottom and than put them in the soil and moisturise them again with the Humic Acid solution.Put the little containers in a close environment with a ripe banana peel (ethylene gas) and than wait till they hopefully pop.Keep the temp at 21 C / 70 F.

The problem I had was the seedling not being able to shed it's husk
I wonder if it's vigor increase or if it softens the seed husk, making it easier to be shed?

Sometimes if seeds are planted too shallow , the husk can dry a little on way up makes it hard for seed to remove it by itself....
Place dome crate some humidity and sprout should push it self out....
