I'm in! I have 1.35 of cubic space. Is that okay? I need help though. I am using a server case with 132 watts of cfl. I did a test run and the temps got to 81f after 3 hours and stayed there. I've read 78 is tops so is mine okay or should I work out the kinks. I have 3 fans ( 1 is 120mm amd the other 2 are 80mm) on each side totalling 6 working off 2 12v power adapters which I can adjust voltage.I also have a passive intake/exhaust at the top. Can anyone help??

All the heat issues have been worked out now so its germ time! Skunk/Haze will be nice..also have Easyryder but I don't know if autoflowres are allowed in this comp..let me know..I have plenty of lights and plenty of space.. should be fun..I'll be posting pics in the next couple of days

This old beat up night stand which I modified to a grow box.
The flower chamber:
13" wide x 11" deep
8 23w 2700k cfl's (184 watts)
2 80mm cpu fans for circulation
1 4" fan gutted from an old air purifier for exhaust (There were no details on this fan so I have no idea about rpm or cfm)
The mother chamber:
9" wide x 11" deep
4 15w 5600k cfl's (60 watts)
1 80mm cpu fan for circulation
1 80mm cpu fan for exhaust
A piece of plate glass is used to seperate the lights from the canopy and control heat. Temps are approximately 5-8 degrees above ambient.

There is only 15" from the glass to the bottom of the cab so some creative LST is involved. I use these tiny 15oz juice bottles cut to about 10-12oz in an effort to curb the height of the plants. It's basicly a mini Dr. Bud set up. These will be chopped in a week or two, but I have no scales so it's not likely that I will have weights to report. I just wanted to finaly post something to prove that I actualy grow, and since my night stand qualifies, I did it in here.

wow that's a great looking cab greensmoke. Are you running soil or coco in those little containers?
So awesome to see how many people took the DrBud style and all the other micro CFL grow serious and now we have tons of cats growing their own stash. I have a shitload of clones rooting right now so I think I'll turn on my 1.5 sq ft cab on with 123w and I'll try and get run like the GOD of micro growing Blynx!

Thanks, it's store bought compost mixed with 25% perlite and 25% peat moss. Wish I had also added some lime though.

I believe that comes out to 1.83 sqft. You could block off part of the grow area if you wanted to participate in the challenge.

im speechless i never thought an my idea would turn into this i want to say thank you to everyone who has kept this thread alive and im amazed at what you guys are pulling i am no longer micro but i have passed the trade and cab on agian thanks guys

Great thread , I did a 1foot square cfl grow a while back . Yields where not bad and the project was very fun .

Got another round going in my 1sq ft cab.
4 plants; 2 Alibi x Herijuana, 1 Lady G1 x Masterlow, & 1 The White x Masterlow. Kept the same wattage and containers (Goldfish crackers boxes).
Just finished end of week 5. Here's the weekly compilations up until that point.
