Right, but if you want the general public to have any idea of what you are talking about, the unfortunately "Marijuana" is the term to use.
I suppose we could use the same underhanded tactics they used 70 years ago and call it something that people don't recognize.
Oh yeah, that Cannabis is nothing like Marijuana. It's much safer and cures cancer too.

"Jesus Approved Cancer Reducer"
odds are still would be banned, too much money in regulation versus legalization. Hell even the word legalization is bullshit because that is "allowed" by others versus our own personal rights to do with our bodies as we damn well please.

Eating & smoking are 2 totally different drugs IMO, hard to compare the 2.Its just another magic quality of Cannabis tho, if 1 doesn't help you? its likely another form of ingestion/effect or strain will?

Yes, edibles are metabolized by the liver, and you get delta 11 THC, and if you smoke or vape it goes directly to the bloodstream through the lungs and you get delta 9 THC. From time to time I wonder if I when you do both, do you get delta 10 THC, or Delta 20? Can't decide if it's additive or averages.
Speaking of enemas* did you know that in the late 18th century they'd fill an enema bag with smoke and actually have a smoke enema. Here's a picture of an actual smoke enema kit (not in use):

This thread brings up an important point and that is that if the govt gets their chance they and industry will try to take over it. How funny that the govt essentially tries to eradicate it then will try to tax it and profit from it once they lose "the war"?

Marijuana was a word used to help induce fear tactics and promote racism in the time period in which it arrived in the US.
I ALWAYS use the word cannabis over marijuana, and have for years, been working the "m" word out of my vocabulary altogether.
I do use other slang terms as well from time to time, but I will not call it by the name the government decided to outlaw it by...

I hear you guys, but just think how easy it would be to legalize a product that technically isnt marijuana... it's Cannabis. lol! I call it plenty o names trust me. My recent favorite east coast term is trees! "yo you got trees?" but when I speak to people that are eloquently discussing medical "marijuana" I will call it cannabis. Call it can o piss, call it ganj, call it dank, i dont give a fuck... Mary jane just sounds better to me than mary wanna.

Just wanted to make sure that everyone knows that the Spanish word 'marijuana' in English is Mary Jane. I suppose everyone else knows that, but for some reason that bit of trivia escaped me for decades.
But really, who was this Mary Jane, and how did she get her name stuck on this plant? I have to assume she was Hispanic, but beyond that I'm clueless.

there is no such thing as delta 11 or 20 thc only delta 9 (old name delta 1) and delta 8 (old name delta 6) and "delta" stands for a double bond. so there is no Averaging they are 2 different chemicals.
the liver turns delta 9 thc into 11 hydroxy delta 9 thc. still delta 9 but with a hydroxy at the 11th carbon. (i think that helps with water (blood) soluibility) also any chemical with any change becomes a new chemical that may or may not have the effects of the parent compound example is mda to mdma, with 1 extra carbon mdma has vastly different effects from mda (in my opinion and I have had CONFIRMED pure molly of both) mda was nothing compared to mdma
