hey lazy what you useing for a/c nature?

Yeah I basically air cool the room, I have 20K BTU of ACs but the room leaks so bad it only makes a small dent. I gotta get it insulated/sealed. Next spring I'm gonna get a 3-5-ton Coolerado AC, only 600 watts of draw!

Man, just read through the whole thread bud. That first run was a little disapointing yeah, but at least you did not have a total failure. Have a 8KW setup also. Smaller space. And only 80 plants. Vegging for another week personally. Last run was with 6 KW and we pulled barely 4 lbs. disapointed also man. Problem after problem. Also using coco. I need to put up another journal on here also.

Thanks for stopping by man, good luck with your next run! I know I'll have better luck next time with Canna soil and different nutes.

I'm thinking of doing Canna coco nutes vs Botanicare CNS17, but I'm open to suggestions. I'd like to find an inexpensive set of nutes since I use so much of them, so I was thinking of using Dongles Floranova and Koolbloom nute schedule for it's simplicity and economics too.

Yeah, my partner and I are really considering the Bio Canna line. Possibly just the Canna line. We like weight. LOL. The Bio Canna stuff sounds awesome though. Not only do u not need to worry about the ph but its organic. Since making teas are not our thing, we want this Bio Canna shit. Is the Botanicare CNS17 the full organic stuff from them? I love Botanicare Sweet though. Molasses or Honey would do the same trick though...

Yeah I don't think CNS is organic, certainly not OMRI. Molasses is way cheaper than Bud Candy, Sweet or honey though, 15ml/gal works great!

The sweet works great for sure. I was meaning real honey though. GF's dad uses it...

Hey bro, yeah I hear ya, but isn't honey like $10 a small bottle? Been a while since I checked prices on it but I thought molasses was the cheapest for adding carbs and such.

I'm also looking at adding an RO filter just to get some tighter control over my water/soups, 480ppm which has a lot of calcium in it, but lots of other stuff I can't control too. I think the Merlin Pro does about 700 gallons a day, I don't want to add a third reservoir for an RO tank so I'll just make it on demand instead. Sometimes I need to refill both tanks 1-2 times in a day when doing a flush so a regular 100gpd unit just won't cut the mustard.

Yeah. The merlin is like 350 on ebay. It is the shit from what I hear. I am adding a RO also. Too much shit in city water to be risking it. Probably the problems I do have is from not having filtered water. I will only need 100gpd though. Definately worth the money for RO though. I dont know about the price on honey either. It was just a thought. I probably stick with the sweet. I love the results as the are now. Why mess with a good thing right?

Your not running any ICE this go round? I have a tbl that's about 4wks into flower and starting to fill in. I ended up veggin a few of them a bit too long due to unforeseen circumstances(lol) so they are some BIG AZZ ladies lol

My :2cents: I'm def no expert but I've had great results with Bcuzz coco that I use straight from the bag with no rinse or additives. I use GH 3 part with KB, Floralisch, FB in a flood/drain setup(4x4) under 1k hps. I just love the simplicity of it and the growth in coco is amazing! Those are ICE colas in my avatar from my last op. :rasta:

No no ICE this round, I liked it too but couldn't get enough of them as my buddy flowered out his moms. The NL5 was pretty apparent in its stature and growth, liked the big single colas NL is famous for.

So Cuzzn, you use Flora series and Floranova both? Or do you just use the 3-part in veg?

bcuzz coco suppose to be some of the best... i run with botanicare and have had great results too... i mix it up with chunky perlite and crop circles which are coco chips that need to be washed....

I use the 3 part Flora series the whole way adding Floralicious Bloom, Koolbloom, and Florablend from transition to ripen.

Here's a nug from some Skunk#1 thats almost done

I think I'm gonna utilize the lucas formula on my next go round. :rasta:

Hmm, I still have a few gallons of my old GH 3 part, think theyd still be good after a couple years? I've heard a lot about Lucas' formula, but I don't think it was designed for Coco and so many good coco-specific nutes have been created since that formula was written. I'll probably give it a shot sometime but I think I need to run RO water for it first.

Man, building a good room this size is a lot more work and lots more expensive than a small one. Everything is 3-4 times what it is for a one-bedroom grow, and I mean everything. Gotta maximize the automation so you can pay attention to plants instead of equipment!

Ok gonna go smoke a bowl of SSH with my wife and fix some dinner, later guys

Check out the lucas formula thread in the indoor-hydro section, breaks it down for coco specifically :rasta:

Thanks for the tips guys!

Now for some photo updates.

Purple AK is getting close to chop, turning nice and purple and still packing on weight though:

Couple more to follow shortly, the lemon thais are huge and will take another 2-3 weeks, the Myst of Destructions will have to go elsewhere as they need another 6-7 weeks. Buddy of mine is gonna finish em for me and split the net results. ;)
