i just went thruogh 60 silver pearl seeds. 1 pack of 10 bought, returned 5 times so 60 total. not i germinated. i love this strain but this is rediculous. is sensi seeds becoming a thing of the past???? id rather buy from res, joey, karma or other lesser known but more reputable and respectably priced breeders.

has anyone been arbitrarily screwed out of genes from sensi like this???

oh, and 10 jack herer seeds (white label) not 1 germ and im not even gona waste my time going back

im not realy choked, its more like dissappointment or like the loss of a loved one

am i alone in this?????

what have you done ssb, what have you done? d

how did you try to get them to pop?

how did you store them before you decided to use them?

Sensi used to be great. I heard they out source all there breeding now so you really have no idea what your getting. I got super skunk 6 yrs ago and it was the BOMB. Ordered another 20 seeds this past year, not 1 keeper. Im done with them. If you go on there forum and say this it will just be deleted. BLOWS!

I posted this ealrier today in a NL5 thread that was discussing Sensi seeds, It's much more appropriate here

This is a little off-topic because the subject is NL, but my recent experience with Sensi has been a disaster. Bought a pack of Mothers Finest. I really wanted to grow this variety because it's supposed to be a great sativa that grows and finishes like an indica. MF had virtually all 10's for potency on the old Overgrow strain review site. I even bought non-feminized seeds to try it even though I pretty much only use feminized now.

The bottom line: 0 out of 10 seed seeds popped! It wasn' my fault. Along with them 4 out of 4 Satori, 2 out of 2 CH9 SSh and 9 out of 10 CH9 Jack seeds popped.

The problem may have been with the seed vendor, but I saw another report in which 0 out of 10 Sensi seeds popped.

I really wanted to try Mothers Finest but I won't be shopping with Sensi any more.

there no pilot in the plane at sensi ...why these rich people dont hire a serious breeder to save what is left of an extraordinary catalogue of genetics .

Sensi Seeds is going down hill

Sensi Seeds is going down hill

yeah, I just got a pack of Sensi's Skunk #1 and I got some odd sprouts I had one sprout in reverse, one only grew the first set of leaves then quit growing!! out of 7 seeds I only got 1 normal surviver. I have grown out several of sensi strains, california indica, maple leaf indica and those were very nice and had good germination rates, I dont know what the hell they are doing there but I wont be waisting anymore money or time on fucked up genetics. take a look at the pic of the germination.

sensi seeds sucks now !!

They have an awesome genetics catalog. I mean really, awesome. I don't know whats going wrong over there but maybe a conscious effort made by growers to go over there and post their bad results? I don't know man. I know if I tried 60 seeds and only 1 popped I would be raging. It really is crazy because I know people that would give a liver lobe for some of the genetics they work with and have worked with in the past.

I rekon all the bad germ rates are because of these out-sourced breeders. It was never a problem before they had to cut down near all the breeding in the cannabis castle. Perhaps they should think of getting some more skilled/reputable people to be making their seeds. But i still hold hope with sensi, they didn't get where they are with shit genetics and bad germ rates.

I'll let you all know how the nl#5/haze go on the germ rates, and i'll likely be trying the silver haze, shiva skunk and jack flash too. So if after all them, all i've had is bad germ rates and not 1 keeper, i might start about thinking of jumping on the badwagon. I am hopeful i wont have to though, i'm sure this nl#5/haze is gonna be killa, more people just need to be growing it.

Nothing wrong with the current product. Same as always. Have shown photos.

10/10 for me. Switching light cycle now. A little nute sensitive, as you might expect.

If someone has some real actual genuine problem with some strain from them, it definitely does not apply to their products on the whole. As far as I can tell, everyone who talks about Sensi being crap is getting free seeds from someone else or something, or repeating other people's slander for nothing in return - because I have 40/40 germination from them so far, even after long storage in the crisper bin of the fridge - 4 different strains, all strains homogeneous so far. I'll buy more strains from them.

I'm not saying that people are lying, it's just a little nagging feeling considering that Sensi is not that welcome here since they don't support this site, and that my results do not support any accusations other than being expensive. But then genetics were expensive, for seeds, from the beginning.

But then some people say that G13 Labs products are great, yet the genetics I get as freebies are garbage in every way, even for free.

It would be nice if I was a shill for Sensi and they sent seeds to me. It would be nice if they would send seeds to this country period, instead of relying on vendors who've stored them in some unknown way for some unknown length of time.

How long is long term storage? Did you buy your seeds from older, better stock? Dunno, just curious.

In the nineties Sensi Seeds was good with their outdoor varieties like the Mexican sativa. It was a good Oaxacan strain never got moldy and was early too, but grew it last year and found out that it was sensitive for molds like hell and started to flower very late. This year i have their Jamaican Pearl and no complaints about mold, but this strain also started to flower very late.I hope it is a quick finisher, but realised that some of their outdoor varieties are not early finishers any more.

Our world itself is changing. I have my own strains that I have created and grown for years and have not changed the genetic makeup of and they now finish much later. Strain of my own that used to finish Oct. 15th in Mendocino are now most likely to finish mid November. People who breed for outdoors and spend their time working these plants outdoors with complete dedication will tell you that there is something very wrong with Mother Nature these days. We as mankind should really be worried.

silver pearl

Just ordered silver pearl a few days ago at the boutique. They should arrive tomorrow as the status is "oder sent in full". Will put 5 of them in distilled water the same day and post germ rate here.

I believe she is becoming even more unpredictable than ever. That's just my take on what you're saying. The summer heat, where I live, started around April? (lol!) and extended until very recently (October)

I mean...seriously.. 107 degrees toward the end of September?

from my experience.....a grower is better off buying dutch passion seeds....
Since, Sensi has bought The Flying Dutchman, sadly this might be the truth! I've read some threads on "The Pure" Skunk 1 offered by TFD, and they are saying the same thing about TFD since the Sensi takeover.
