Probably just to show some appreciation. I have read some of his other posts and he is seems like a pretty straight up guy and even compliments his competition quite often. I dont take him as some one that would try to get biased reviews by offering free products to guys hes connected with via this forum at all.

I figure I am getting about as good of free advertising here at IC as anywhere. The people here are the reason this site exists, so I feel that it kind of is a advertising cost.
Along with that I have been on the forums for years...A lot of the reason I am here can be traced back to the people here at IC along with Overgrow. I was Oldrookie on OG along with several other sites. I have been all over the world, and have met a lot of lifelong friends on these forums.
If you would like you can look at how our brother Marshmallow was treated at our shop before we knew he was IC...Then it even got a little better for him.
There are several other sites that I offer discounts on, for the same reasons.
I guess if you feel that I am here only for the $$$$ that is your right, however the people that know me for the last 15 years on these forums know much better.
I am a business man, and have been in businesses of other kinds for the last 25 years. I'm not here to loose money or break even, if I was I wouldn't be here for long.

At least your straight up. Most dispensary owners wont admit the fact they are in the operations for profit.

Whether they admit it or not, all disp are in it for the money. Who opens a business to lose money or even break even. NOBODY.
The idea here is to get the growers to lower their prices to about 150.00 oz and then the disp can supply it to patients for about 250.00-300.00 max. The disp that I know about have reported going through about 30-50 lbs a month. The trick is in the supply part. There will always be a demand.
My ideal would be 40.00 1/8s, 75.00 1/4s, 140.00 1/2s and 250.00 oz. At that price point you'd have a line clear around the block.
Also all these disp that are supplying other services, you as a patient are paying for them whether you want them or not. I much rather have cheaper priced meds and if I want a massage then give me a good price on one but don't build it in the price of all meds. There are legal and medical reasons why doing massages may backfire. As an example, I'm a Diabetic, and I can't get a massage from a licensed masseur(sp) without a signed release from my Primary Care Dr. Reason being, is the chance of blood clots being broken up during the massage and killing me. I don't think the disp have taken everything into account on these things. Hell I heard of a disp in town here that gives you a free massage by the owners wife if you buy a full oz. No thanks. Check there license to do massages before they touch you, there's a reason for needing a license to do them.
I'll step off my soapbox now, don't mean to bring trouble to anyone just everyone be careful, patients, caregivers and disp owners.

The problem with anything less than $350 an ounce for high quality herb is that there WILL be a line out the door... to RE-sell it all day. You can only imagine how many young punks get their med cards just to have a consistent, high quality supply for dealing it themselves on the street. It really sucks for us to have to pay the prices, but it'd almost be worse if every dispensary was just supplying shady street dealers. Leaving nothing for the patients... Sigh.
Although there is a place by me that sells $40 eighths and $270 ounces... but it's the cali outdoor stuff. So, I'd rather drop the extra $10 for something extremely potent. A gram of ultra potent smoke outlasts two grams of average sensemilla for me.

That may happen and probably will, but then they should be punished not the patient with higher prices. I would monitor how much MMJ a patient is getting and watch for abuse. It's not a perfect system but we gotta try. It never made sense to me to punish everyone because of what a few do.

Dispensaries should not have to track or worry about how much medicine patients are using; nor should they feel they have to explain their pricing policies. Let the market take care of it: Supply vs. Demand. If people are buying grams at $30 each, then they feel it's a fair price. Period. What you or I personally think is a fair price for a gram of good bud is completely irrelevant. We each have the power to either keep our wallets in our pockets or whip em out and buy whatever we want.
Also, lets not equate greed with profiteering. There is absolutely no point in starting a business (with great risk, mind you) if you are not going to get compensated for the time and effort you put in. I am not defending $30 grams here folks, just pure good ole capitalism.

Yeah, most places go through closer to 4 oz. + a day. It's different in Denver, I'm sure. But up here things are slow n steady. So, not even that close to 10 lbs. a month.
(Although, if a dispensary has the supply to be supplying other dispensaries... that would drop them in that 30-50 range.)
(And no, a 50 pack of cali outdoor does not count as a monthly supply for a dispensary like that. Bleh)

I was going by what I was told by a reputable disp in Denver. They claimed that they go through 30 lbs a month. Every time I talk to a disp they always brag how many patients they serve (200-500) 30 lbs is 480 oz, or 13680 grams. That's about an oz for each patient if you average about 400 patients. Now some of the Disp taking cash probably don't report it all and therefore may not admit how much they go through.
Still is all speculation on my part of course. I guess I could be way off.
