Today's pic, approaching day 40 of 12/12

The bud density and size are in the end probably gonna be decent, but I'm disappointed at myself for not having more plants or more veg to provide more canopy, practically there's couple plants on the middle of the cab and all the corners are empty. Especially when they're provided with more light than last time. Next time better eh?

I'm gonna do a pure ufo run next time, a sort of sog if my cuttings stay alive till then. The t5s are gonna be used elsewhere to provide light for other plants during the fall/winter period.

It's day 41 of 12/12, somewhere around september 10th I'd estimate that they'll be chopped. Really like the thick sweet smell of grape krush and trainwreck, grenadella seems to be more subtle, difficult to describe smelling, maybe some incence, but that really doesn't define it still. Considering possible reveg of grape krush.

Day 45, hopefully some fattening be happening..thinking about 65 dayish will do. Again I have to state that I'd wish I had more canopy, the lack of stretch still surprises me. For the next batch there's chemmie and couple of bubba kush x deep chunk f2s(still unsexed) and some grenadella cuts. I also have some sativa leaning stuff too.

Yes I'll document this one and the ones coming after this too. I'll probably keep the setup same (ufo + t5s) and try to improve other variables to better quantity , I think that this time with proper flush the taste will be more tasty. For the first run had too big containers for small plants=too much feed left, this was (mostly)partly due for having no experience with blooming with smaller than 250w hps. Another reason was the lack of strech.

About 3 weeks to go, except grape krush with this particular indica-phenotype could take less time.

Day 47, since I'm running out of stash it's gonna be long 3 weeks..Grape krush could be done by 56 days maybe, but we'll see. Gonna now on just give em water, expect grenadella gets maybe feed once or twice as it it's a lil slower than the others. But I think they're done by 9 weeks.

Today I'm gonna start to give the grape and wreck plain water, grenadella seems to be about a week late from them and might go to 70+ days so it gets still some feed.

Going to do another multistrain seed run after this, not as efficient as monoculture with clones, but hey it's fun and for personal stash.

Venting, lights, soil and containers are going to be same, gonna keep tweaking mostly with bending and such to have as much foliage as possible. Also it seems that the ufo+t5 (and ufo also by itself) seems to grow decent sized buds about 20 cm down the canopy, after that it's more fluffy popcorns at best. So they were too tall this time. I did some lst, but not nearly as much as I had planned..Blame the summertime.. Some kind of modular scrog could be one option, but it seems to be easier just to tie em down.

I've been doing some research on LED lately because i'm fearing the heat issues of putting a HPS in my room. I was reading a special in high times from october of last year where they mention the 90w UFO being compared to a 600w HPS.

My question is - What is your max coverage area with the UFO ??

Judging on these pics i'd say you're getting something like 3x3 or usable light , maybe ??

I'm just trying to get an idea of how many of these I might actually need to cover a 4x8 area.

Dreamscape, my cab size is roughly 2x2 and think that's pretty (over) maximum for one ufo, There are various models with different components and wavebands, but I doubt that any one those could beat 150 hps. Comparing it to 600 w hid is bs.

For that big area, leds are way too expensive now to be practical. But who knows what's gonna happen in couple of years..

Biggest lamp I've used was 250 w hps so really don't have experience in the scale you mentioned, but if I were to do it myself I'd look to cooltubes and watercooling and such.
