Well that isn't the only reason. It is believed by many, that a round pot, if allowed to become root bound at all, will cause the roots to grow in a circular pattern around the already formed and established roots towards the center/deeper soil.....this constricts/chokes (think like a snake) plant, and actually causes all sorts of problems...

When using a square pot, the roots never have a chance, even if becoming root bound to grow in that fully circular pattern...thus effectively stopping the plants roots from choking itself....

THIS (^) was the main reason I started using square pots....the benefit of a cleaner/tidier setup and the ability to put more in a given space, were just perks for me.

doing well. about to throw them into flower tomorrow i think. i will post a pic i took today so you can guage the size. still no sex as of yet.

thank you! no, no sex yet. a couple days in flower and i should know what i am working with. i want to grab clones as soon as i do.

Yeah we are taking clones of these beauties too. Shaun wants to keep one male set up a pollenation room for this strain, but we just don't have the room to. So the next best thing is to take clones... Need a castle just to grow and breed in, lol....

i placed all of the plants into flower today to help determine sex and keep to my normal schedule. all 10 look good and are under the 1000 watt pseudo sun now
