i grew it out a few years back i was using cfl's so the yield i got was ok if i had better lights could have got way more.after i smoked i was able to go to work and have no problem

ha well yeah its not really a problem, but you know what I mean about the different highs? the body stone where you just get all lazy and have to work yourself to get motivated, compared to the kind where when you smoke it you feel like you want to go accomplish something? it totally depends on your mood too.
I smoke probably 10grams a week to myself compared to when I was younger and smoking half that a day sometimes. back then when I knew so little, I hope this thread doesnt seem too silly, I hardly post here but im really into this. and finding the perfect strain. I mean, ill probably get sick of it after a while, but only when I get sick of it do I allow the others to get sick of it! there is no competition in this town what so ever, ive been here a year now and met my share of people. now when I say this stuff (that I showed a pic of a few posts up (sorry for the shitty camera)) is the best thats pretty much around here, I feel the need (because im baked obviously) to post about what im feeling since I got this baggy about an hour ago and burned myself a good joint.
id give it:
look 6/10, it looks decent, and its better than a 5/10
taste 3/10, theres just not much there, I mean, you know its weed.... and it doesnt take like crap... just... weed, theres nothing fruity or exotic about it. theres nothing that stands out.
smell 5/10 it smells like the other shit I had before that would have been a 3/10.... thats all I can say about it
it doesnt even have a name and I got it from some punk. it probably could have been trimmed better too.

when i smoked it i didnt get lazy,and i do know you what mean but the diff highs.but i know from my girl and i ,the diff strains work diff on each of us.so some thing that makes me lazy may not make her lazy or vice versa..

If I'm too stoned, I cant move or do anything but veg out..... but when the high semi - wears off, still feeling a little bit of a buzz I will get up and be productive lol...

your best bet bro is get a few strains grow them out take some clones from each,and from there pick the one with the high you are looking for.hope i was of any help.have a great weekend
For sativa's, Kali Mist from Serious, SSH, and Nev's Haze from Mr. Nice. Amnesia Haze from Soma, fit the bill. Sam's Haze crosses are top shelf sativa genes. She takes some time tho'. Most top notch sativa's do.

I don't have time to read through the whole thread but Maui Waui kicks ass, it's sativa dominant but finishes fast for a sativa. Yield is excellent and the plant structure itself is excellent as well. It grows fast and tall for a short veg time, much stretch in flowering. It's one of my favorites, and easy to grow.
A lot of the strains people are throwing out here are pretty hard to grow, and if you want something easy and forgiving... you're out of luck.
Also if you're interested in yield.
Critical Mass, Chronic (can't remember which is serious seeds and which is mr. nice) and Great White Shark (Greenhouse seeds) Of these GWS is probably the most consistently potent high yielder. Seeds themselves are nice and cheap.
A lot of the strains people are throwing out here are pretty hard to grow, and if you want something easy and forgiving... you're out of luck.
Also if you're interested in yield.

lets go with 3 strains that all have roughly the same flower time. im doing 3x7, so fuck the single strain. I almost want to start a new thread because this one is so fucked, so im gonna look up all the suggestions from here and start doing some more homework. until then, lets say im after these:
1) still the same thing as before, taste/smell/high etc ```100% sativa
2) a knock-you-out sort of high, pretty much the exact opposite of what I was posting about before. you smoke this stuff before you go to bed ```100% indica (maybe something with kush in the name)
3) high yield anything goes ```maybe a mix 50/50

Haze
Sativa. This is probably one of the most potent strains on the planet. A super sativa developed in the 70's by the Haze Brothers, this stuff is electric. Height 5-6 feet Flowering time 9 to 11 weeks. Yield 125 gr.

Yeah, if you can get haze brothers genetics. That's an eastcoast thing as far as I know.
I've never seen NLxKush... maybe try Big Bud X NL. That's readily available. High yield.

jack flash is a fast finisher and has a slight haze taste and nice up high

Well, haze would be the best thing for the sativa high. however, i'd be suspicious if you're able to harvest a haze plant in 9 weeks that it's actually haze. there's no way that a true haze would harvest that early.
the good thing is, though, that there are MANY haze hybrids that will have the same electric, uplifting speedy high that haze has but will have a considerably shorter flowering period. you'll still need to flower most of them out for at least 12 weeks but they are well worth the wait. If you're up to a long flowering time though, i'd really recommend nevilles haze. it will still take a good long while to flower but the high is amazing.
also maybe include a few other equitorial sativas in your search. african sativas such as malawi for example i think you would love.

They decompose at a rate depending on their environment. Usually the trichromes, their chemicals decompose which means transform into other chemicals/cannabinoids. They stink more, with a soft touch when they decompose naturally while growing. They might mold, rot and fall off after a long while or bad weather. If you don't have winter, then they rot buds to reveg. Indoors or just dry air, they get dry crispy and the light makes the trichromes decompose faster with a different cannabinoid profile than a natural maturity.

well that's hard to do with pure or some sativa dominant strains unless you have a huge amount of patience most of the time you should just try to harvest when the trichomes get cloudy or partially amber depending on how you like it. technically the thc will start to degrade if you let it go for too long but there will be a window of time where you will want to harvest, if you can manage to keep an eye on the trichomes when the flowers start to look done you should be able to harvest them on time...
some sativas have multiple harvest windows though that can be misleading. many times when you purchase a strain there will be some idea of how long it is going to flower. this probably wont be incredibly accurate but it will give you a good idea of how long it may flower. if you get a strain that is said to flower for 16 weeks, but the trichomes look cloudy at week 9 or 10, just don't harvest. 9 times out of 10 the buds wont look fully formed anyway so you'll have at least a decent suspicion that they could go longer.
