Yeah, I think the original diagnosis was that his death, or the condition that caused his death (cerebral edema) was actually caused by Cannabis. Though, I think this was later retracted as they discovered that Cannabis doesn't actually kill people.
According to a few sources I've read, Bruce Lee would turn down an offer of alcohol and go and chew some hash in private instead.

Bruce Lee would have destroyed if it was still no rules no weight classes, the way Gracie made it to be. The rules make UFC pointless. The goal is suppose to be to find the worlds best all around, no holds barred fighter. Not the best at 170, not the best BJJ practitioner, the best all around fighter. Get Bruce before he even hit the big screen and started training to appear better rather than fight better and its no contest....

Maybe if Bruce could throw and land some stuff like that every time he would tear through the UFC, but after watching that Documentary this morning, the one thing(physical) that really stuck with me was what a little man he was, 130lbs at best, take his ability and put it into a 6ft lean 200lb package and it would be something else.
IMO, he just didn't have the size and weight necessary to beat all challengers.
That's why they have weight classes.
From wrestling I know the difference strength makes, unless he can pull shit like that thing on silvia every time, he's going to get hit like a train by the big guys.

Thats my point ... there arent any 150lb 5 ft chinese karate guys excelling in the ufc. Contrary to what people think there were many guys training like bruce and 1,000's more today and not one of them excells in the ufc.
Bruce Lee would get murdered by any journeyman/gatekeeper UFC fighter period. I have been reading some insane posting by some people here saying that Bruce Lee would kill in UFC? Bruce Lee = Flashy moves for movies. MMA Fighters = Smash your face.
Traditional Martial Arts have been shown time after time to be worthless, although Bruce Lee developed a hybrid martial art still its not combat efficient? How many MMA world champions purely use Jeet Kun Doo for their striking? 0.

I think thats more due to political/cultural reasons though rather than anything though and i dont think can be used as a basis to suggest Bruce would be no good!
