Chuck Noris could! I don't really like UFC that much....I'd go with Bruce Lee, I just respect him so much...UFC fighters are a dime a dozen, in my opinion.

Bruce Lee could take on several of these UFC wash ups for sure. These guys are slackers compared to Bruce.

Here's my thought, none of us knew the guy, never saw him in a real fight, shit, there's not even tapes of him in real fights.
We all grew up on the movies and hype, and through that he became bigger then life in everyone's eyes, it's good he's not here now, I like to remember him like he was, untouchable, invincible, immortal almost, I wouldn't want to see the reality that he was just a man brought home by him getting beaten in today's MMA by any number of guys IMO.

i dunno
bruce lee supposedly could punch several times faster than anyone else...
one nice punch to the neck is all it would take imo

wasnt there a tv show about this kind of thing before?

I honestly believe Bruce Lee would own everyone. No joke. But, to each their own. It's what makes this world great.

Been a lot of posts while I was gone, takes a while to sort through them.
Your not breaking anything to me I didn't already know, I never said Royce was the greatest, but he did dominate the early days of mma.
What was the dads(Gracie) name? Hexon or something like that? Way to old by the time mma got going to compete but wasn't he suppposed to have started it all(gracie jujitsu) and been incredible?

Seemed like the complete opposite from your previous post. Saying Royce could take Matt Hughes if he was in his prime is just false. The only reason Royce seemed like such a beast was that no one knew what he was doing until it was to late and they were caught in a sub. You cannot defend what you do not understand.

Hélio Gracie is the name you are looking for.

I saw the previous pages, and I'm not about to get into it. Refer to my previous comment about "to each his own". :joint:
Bro you "got into it" by posting in the first place, it's a discussion, if you can't, or won't support your opinion with at least telling us how you reached you it, then why even post at all?

I'll say it again then, Royce in his prime would beat Matt Hughs, Royce gassed out, as he was older, and his conditioning was not what it used to be, if it were, he would have beaten him, whether Matt "Understood" how he was getting beaten or not.

Yes, Helio, thank you.

The fight between Royce and Matt was complete and utter domination due to strength. As stated before Royce is the weakest of the Gracie's and was unable to over come Matt's strength with his technique. This just reiterates what I was saying before, Royce is not he BJJ specialist you think he is, he is average at best.

Chuck Liddell dominated the LHW division because no one really knew what to look out for. Now no one in the UFC is gonna get caught by that overhand right that he throws because they are aware of it.

Now, would it be safe to say that many of the things that you believed to be true at the beginning of this thread turned out to be false?

Would it also be safe to say that many of the things you believed to be false turned out to be truth?

It takes a bigger man to admit when he is wrong.

Show me point by point where I'm wrong and If I am I will admit it, no problem.
Why do you keep saying that I think Royce is the greatest BJJ artist and gracie? I've never even alluded to that, and frankly I've never been super impressed with him.
And this "you cannot beat what you do not understand" stuff is crap, if your style and skill set is superior to another's, you don't need to understand theirs to beat it, if it's weaker, it's weaker, period.

Please do show me the truths and falsehoods that I'm now supposed to be aware of.

I'm glad the thread is coming back to life.

Also Apollo, I forgot If your Pro bruce or not, meaning could he beat everyone.

Being aware that right is in his arsenal will keep you on your guard for it, but come on, NO ONE in the ufc is going to get caught by it now? That's ridiculous, knowing it's out there will not save you from it every time.
What's your background? These are starting to sound like armchair opinions to me.

Its scary how stubborn you are. Are you a wrestler? Taught that when you hit a wall the best thing to do is just work harder? There is a reason no one has eaten that shot since Alistar Overeem, its because Chuck has been exposed/figured out.

If you didnt already know Chuck is 1-5 in his last 5 outtings, ever wonder why?

Ever wonder why you have most responses in this thread?

Here's a tip hotshot, when everyone else sounds crazy except for you, its you who is crazy.

You have shown time and time again that you do not research any of your statements, your facts come from opinions on another forum. A simple google search would have stopped you from putting your foot in your mouth time and time again. That says a lot about your character. Shoot first ask questions later.

If you were any kinda of MMA fan, these words would have never been typed:

Matt run out of gas???? Are you kidding me? LMAO, Matt is a cardio machine even casual fans of the sport know this.

That little dumbbell test you did still was not enough to prove to you that Bruce had unhuman strength.

The fact that he is the only martial artist in the history of movie making that had his footage slowed down in order to capture his movement was not enough to prove to you his unhuman speed.

(It takes 28 still photos to produce 1 second of video. He moved faster than 28 frames per second. You cannot stop what you cannot see.)

Seeing as how you have this insatiable need to label me, allow me to do the same to you.

You are a WWE fan who recently turned onto MMA. After watching a few UFC's you are a self proclaimed expert in MMA who reads and reiterates the same garbage that you read from WWE fans who recently turned onto MMA. It is crystal clear who is the MMA fan and who is the WWE fan in this thread.

where did I proclaim to be an MMA expert? WTF? You answer none of my questions.
Stay in your armchair.
To expand on my label on you armchair, you appear to be a expert mma FAN, same type watches lots of sports on TV, knows all the stats, and has playground firsthand expierence at best.
I'm not an expert on the MMA at all, and have NEVER had an MMA style fight, or even a real fight that didn't get broke up right away and wasn't really serious to began with.
But I do have 8 years expierence wrestling high school/college and the training that goes with it, from that expierence I draw my conclusions, where do you draw yours from?
Again, what is your background.
Armchair fan, knows stats and names, great.
