Hey bro, still not smoked it yet, been drying for 6 days now, smells strong in the drying room,
the weird thing is it smells the exact same as the Chem D pheno of Capt's Chem D x OG Kush but a different bud structure, but 1 of the other pheno's i found looked the exactly like FFA (pheno that had the mad calyx formation), the only difference was the fan leaves on the CDxOG in veg smelled like diesel when you'd rub the leaf blades - the FFA didn't, incredible how similar they are tho

You should let your soil get dry. I agree with the transpiration. Roots need to get oxygen just as much as water. Amazing strain, your very fortunate to have landed those! Watch some serious calyx stackin!

i also use Bio Bizz All-Mix + just finished an FFA grow, 100% way too much Nitrogen bro as FFA has naturally light green coloured leaves, i'm guessing you thought because they were light green they were hungry so fed them?, also what nutes are you using (Bio Bizz as well?)


this is a problem as well man, you need to let the compost go through a proper 'wet-dry' cycle

low humidity can cause leaf curl as well but from what i've seen FFA is really stable in humidity fluctuations, so yeah i'd say it's too much Nitrogen and overwatering issues

yeh i dont have a problem with nutrient imbalance,,,,,,i just empty my NFT tank flush with plain "ph`d" water,,,,,,, re mix the nutes,,,,,job done ,,, ionic imballance is defo not an issue for me

ta for all the interest. its really usefull. am getting on the flush tonight.

have been using light mix this time to cut down on soil nutes, am also using superthrive, bio-heven, bio-grow, bio-bloom, top max and alga mac in the quantitys that was prescribed on the little nute chart that comes with the nutes. tho i mix up 6 lt and add nutes for 5 lt worth, to try and keep a little under the right amount. they on week 3 on the chart witch equates to :- 2ml/pl of heven grow algamic and topmax. tho they have only had 1 watering at that strengtth so far. before flowering they just got superthrive, bio heven and bio grow. bio grow is pretty high in N so might just hold off with that stuff, till latter!

the stones were to stop the soil getting too dry due to the previous grows getting too hot. the stones have only been on for like 4 days now and they seem to be liking it. could a few other people concur with taking them away before i do???? i thought they were a good idea?

i know that huniddity is low but it stays low and does not fluctuate more than 5% - 10%

shit! not wanting to piss on anyones bonfire but, the cuts i believe were purple kush.
probably explains why the leaves are so green, i dont think they are too over fertilised really.
PK is some amazing smoke though, my PK jar goes down way faster than my cheese jar, if you catch my drift.

the PK did come via canada.

i'm sure the FFA could be sorted at some point if your into it.

purple kush is indica dominant,
works better as a bush/scrog
makes golf balls of buds rather than colas.
amazing resin production, with a unique taste.

maybe i should become a seed company with strain descriptions like that, lol...

hello readers.

the run-off from the flushing was looking almost uniform 6.1.

as far as i can make out this is good?!?

am lettin them dry out a bit before next watering.

will reduce the frequency of the waterings to when they feel dry as opposed to every 2 days. looking pretty helthy tho. am a bit worriedd about the cheese x lowryder??? have put a humidifier in now so humidity is up to around 60%, i hope this helps.
