The upsides down is great fun. Thanks Mosca for this input.
I have started 2 of them. The one hanging down from a tree outside is not doing as well as the one in the gh.
Well. Lets see how it´ll work out...

Two confirmed Early Durban girls.
God damn. Insects really love the one of them.

Hey Paddi! I'm really curious as to what the root structure looks like in those topsy-turvy hanging planters.. are they bunched at the bottom? Perhaps at harvest, you can let us know.. or mosca, perhaps you know? I'm wondering what would happen if you grew out a plant first, then transfered? I'm thinking the more established root system would be further at the top, allowing space for the new root system to dive downward.. Just thinkin over here :D

Looks like the buggies love that plant as much as you do! I found a neat article on companion planting you might wanna check out, really cool info. P'ce Bro!

your plants look like theyre taking a beating from bugs, why not hit them with some spinosad? gets rid of any bug problem pretty much

Good question Resinvention!

You can transplant into the Topsy Turvy as long as the top of the plant fits through the hole in the bottom. When I transplanted my vegging plants into my TT, the plant tops were 25 centimeters tall. I have noticed after harvesting 2 TT's that the roots grow up into the rooting medium. I ran coco in both and it was as simple as pie!

Paddi, didn't mean to take over your thread-- Peace.

fj...thanks for sharing

A true Ganjafarmer is always busy in the season
He keeps sprouting lots of good seeds
He´ll spread his care and love and gets impressive results

But most of all. He´ll keep learning.

I started my first seed 28 years ago.....and I´m still a novice

Keep growing brothers and sisters. Together we´ll make the difference....
