Show us the dumbest questions about pot you ever heard!!!!

You are in LUCK!

You are in LUCK!

someone should do a mythbuster type of thread regarding the issue about food colouring and smells like banana being added through root-feeding.

I have been looking at an unopened bottle of natural food coloring sitting on my shelf for years. It's blue and it's made with blueberry concentrate. I've been very curious, this morning I did exactly that, I poured the entire bottle into the soil of one of my Dutch Passion Blueberry that are half way into flowering (about 30 days). I have two others that will serve as control (no blue coloring). So, in a month or so we will have out answer.

On subject...

Dumb shit? a friend who is a dealer who turns over a couple of Ps a month and has been for 30 or more years off and on (when he ain't in prison). He is not a 'head' but more of a 'bubblehead' (coke). :(

His quotes;
"You know me Cracky, nobody knows more about pot than me." :( :( :(
"Pot is pot, it's all the same"
"Sativa, indica??? wtf's that have to do with anything?"
"I got the best shit, it's 'HYDRO!', they grow it in like a factory up in Montreal, guys go to work like a job every day."
"My pot is the best, it's 'HYDRO'." (he won't take more than a hit or two of my pot, it's too much for him)

Banana Oil, right?

LOL

Isoamyl acetate CH3COOCH2CH2CH(CH3)2, also known as isopentyl acetate, is an organic compound that is the ester formed from isoamyl alcohol and acetic acid. It is a clear colorless liquid that is only slightly soluble in water, but very soluble in most organic solvents.

Isoamyl acetate has a strong odor (similar to juicy fruit) which is also described as similar to both banana and pear. Banana oil is a term that is applied either to pure isoamyl acetate or to flavorings that are mixtures of isoamyl acetate, amyl acetate, nitrocellulose and other flavors. Pear oil commonly refers to a solution of isoamyl acetate in ethanol that is used as an artificial flavor.

Isoamyl acetate is also used to test the effectiveness of respirators or gas masks because it has a strong smell which is generally not experienced as unpleasant and that can be detected at low concentrations, and has low toxicity.

It is also used as a solvent for some varnishes and nitrocellulose lacquers, as well as being a honey bee pheromone and can be used to attract large groups of honeybees to a small area.

Isoamyl acetate is released by a honey bee's sting apparatus where it serves as a pheromone beacon to attract other bees and provoke them to sting.
It's nothing to sniff at, eh?

It's just a shame that 'banana oil' has absolutely nothing to do with bananas. Ever. Never.

Then again we are talking about Holland, eh?

Not far from where I live is one of the world's largest producing region of hops. They're some of the best available and much of the crop is exported to Germany, Belgium, etc. because they're that good.

About 20 years ago some stoners figured out that cannabis and hops are close enough that you can graft one branch onto the other plant. So they grafted some cannabis branches onto some hop plants and then made beer from the cannabis grown on the hops plant (is that the correct wording? LOL).

They called it 'high-tech brew' and it was disgusting. Horrible. Painful to smell or drink.

Back to the drawing boards, boys! LOL
