I really don't like this early flowering! I wish someone would tell me where I went wrong. I started em inside with 13 hours light(to match outside) and I've got major flowering. I hope they'll veg back, I'm starting to wonder. If they do this will probably drop my weight at harvest (fall) big time.

Anybody's 2 cents is welcome here..........http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=122668 ........or here.

13 hrs of light would start the flowering process in alot of strains. then transplating outside and if you live in texas your day/night is probablly around 12/12 and thats why theyd stay flowering. they probably wont reveg but you can push for better quality than quantity. if your location does get 12/12 most of the year then you should throw out more plants and theyll start budding once they become mature. good luck, nice plants

Here's the same plant 5/23 (today)....

.......not much vertical growth because it was topped twice, once about a week ago. I think it's grown/bushin out pretty well though. Actually it's budding more than growing but we'll talk about that tomorrow.....

Hell yeah! look good BigT! Amazing grow, keep it up

Rain made me have to go gardening today instead of tomorrow. I prefer to go on Sunday(I'm so thankful for my homegrown MJ it just seems appropriate to do it on Sunday). I got quite a few pics and I'll do a caption for each one tomorrow. Just because you asked for updates Mwood1011! I'd rather wait til tomorrow to post when I can put a lil time into it. I'm gonna go :joint: myself into lala land now. later yall

Garden pics and stuff from 5/23

Garden pics and stuff from 5/23

I went out Saturday (23rd) instead of Sunday because I had some rain coming my way. I think I got about 1" out at the farm. Anyway since that rain was coming I figured, "Hell if they're gonna get watered again I'm gonna at least make sure there's some fert/nutes in it"....so I went out to the spot and gave em a pretty good dose of MG tomato fert. (18-18-21). I gave about 3/4 lb. or maybe a lil more to the 21 females. I mix 5-6 tablespoons per 5gal. bucket. Pretty strong, I probably gave em 1.5 gal each (some less depending on plant size). Now this fertilizing along with that MG 20-20-20 I gave em on Thurs. is ALOT of fertilizer over such a short period of time. I wouldn't recommend anyone else give that much to their plants. I don't want that kinda responsibility! Don't forget I added Osmocote 14-14-14 to the soil when I transplanted. These kids are getting the nutes crammed down their lil throats! I've had about 20" of rain lately and all that rain (IMO) probably deluted the nuts alot. Otherwise they'd probably be feelin the burn right now if you know what I mean! You are about to see some that look over fertilized and I'd agree some are showing signs of over-fertilization, but most are not. Kinda find that good medium, you know?

The way I fertilize is just what I've found works easiest/best for me. The same feeding in a different area or climate could have devastating results(unless we're neighbors!). So if anyone is thinking of trying to mimic anything I'm doing with my garden use your own judgement! My judgement has been known to not be so good from time to time. (disclaimer kinda:D)

Anyway here's how things are lookin.....

I threw up a pic from this very angle on the 13th and you couldn't see my weeds for the natural weeds quite as well. I'll change that over the next couple months. LOL
picture.php

Here's a White Russian. I kick myself in the ass everyday over these early flowers. Maybe I went outdoors too soon? IMO I don't think they'd be flowering had they been started outside back in early April in containers. That's my usual way to start em. I'm quite sure/hoping they'll all veg back.
picture.php

I only have two Blueberry females, this is one (8 were male). They seem to be two different phenos, one small and one large. I've read in a tread or two the smaller pheno is slow to take off but will catch up and make some dank smoke. This pic is the larger one. It's looks over-fertilized and is (IMO). I heard these BB's could handle alot of nutes so they're sitting on a lil extra osmocote. That burn will go away soon it's just that the 20" of rain I've had lately made that time-release osmocote release a lil more/faster than usual.

Here's a male and female Mazar. I have three but the other is so small I'm to emberassed to take pics of it yet! Not my fault though it sits in the lowest spot in my patch and was under much running water several times and I'm amazed it survived and didn't get root rot or washed away.
picture.php

I like this pic! There's two rows shown here, left side White Russian, right side my femenized beans I made myself this winter from a real good plant. I planted the Russians on 3-10 and they all came up on 3-14. My homemade beans were planted on 3-9 and all came up on 3-12( I keep good records). that means the right row is only two days older than the left row. These plants have been grown under the exact same conditions. I'm sure the Russian smoke will put mine to shame but just look how my lil fem babies have out grown those Russians....Hybrid vigor?
picture.php
I gotta admit though that 7 out of 10 W Russ were female and SERIOUS SEEDS IMO makes a damn fine product. Got one hermi tho!

Front and center is 4 White Rhyno(there's 5 but you can't see the dwarf one, don't worry it'll catch up!). My garden is 40'x20' with 4 rows of 8. The next row to the right is the Russians and the far right row is my lil creations. You can't hardly see the BB's on the left cause I just gave those boys a major trimming(after harvesting some pollen of course!) The Rhynos are my second fastest growing strain and here they are...
picture.php

Check out the funky leaf on this Rhyno. I've only seen this a couple times before...
picture.php

Here's one of the Rhynos. You can see a couple of the BB boys in the background. All the males will probably soon be transported/transplanted to another spot and their spots replaced with plants I'm gonna start this week from my fem beans I made.

Here's a couple of White Russian gals with a BB female in the background...

Here's one of my organic clones for spring harvest. It's small and not impressive at all to see. It is however really good genes and last week I dusted it and a few others with my recently collected BB pollen. I should have some BB cross beans and a lil seedy smoke in about a month. The plants in my fenced in patch that are early flowering caught a lil BB pollen too! I think they'll veg back in the next couple weeks or so but I think they'll have a few mature BB cross beans in about a month too.

Well I hope all yall enjoyed my lil picture show!!! When buds start coming on good in a couple months or so I'll do a video for yall.

Good luck to all this week and as always thanks for stoppin by. Yall come back now ya hear:D

Those buds are looking great already, cant wait to see in a month or two!

Sorry to disappoint you but those lil clones won't be impressive looking at all in about another month. It'll just be a few small (hopefully) really seeded buds. There are seven, all from different moms, that I dusted with BB pollen. I was gonna use other pollen I already had but since the BB was mature and real early I thought "What the heck". They should be some interesting crosses. Early maturing too.

As for the fenced in patch I think those will stop budding and veg back soon. I hope so. If they will I'll be able to make them really big over the next two months. Late Aug/Early Sept is when I should start having some buds from those plants that are really deserving of being posted up.
....but maybe/hopefully you'll get a kick outa watching those plants grow quite large over the next two months. I'm gonna try my best to make it a nice lil SOG for yall.....oh.... I mean for me!:D

Hope everyone else's grow is going well........L8R yall

Yea you are right! A few seeds now isn't a big deal to me, as long as they'll veg back. I hope the small amount of pollination I allowed to take place doesn't encourage the girls to finish, I'm not sure.

If they will veg back soon they won't make any bud worthy of picking anyway but maybe a few beans will go ahead and mature. I've seen it happen before on a plant that was reveged. That way I'll have some BB cross beans now and I can still breed them another way this fall also.

I let those BB males go just long enough to get a good amount of pollen to store for use later. Right after taking the picture of that male dropping pollen I trimmed them all back to just leaf and stem. No more pollen flying around after that. I'll either kill or transplant the males to another spot. I started a few more plants a couple days ago to replace the males in my patch. I figure I can make more weight by kicking those males out and putting more plants in their spots.

Check out how fast this one's growing!

Here's the stem...

That's pretty fast growing for 21 days(at least for me)...healthy too! I still have about 60-80 more days of veg time. Think it will get big?......... That's why they don't call me "Little Tex":nanana:. I hope things are going as well for the rest of yall.

I'll throw up more later.....

The more sun the more better IMO

Hopefully that will be timberland in a couple months:D

It looks like there'll be some trees in the field before you're done.
You're going to need an axe to chop them down.
How tall are they? I'm guessing close to waist high?

The one in my last post is just a couple inches shy of 5'. The wire fence beside it is 3' tall. Plants usually grow pretty fast around here but I think this spot may be really good to me from the looks of things so far. I put that plant in the ground on April 10th when it was only about 6"-8".
