Hey gang! Partying my butt off since my visit from the Canna Rabbit! Mmm..my basket was full of Dutch Passion Orange Bud and Sweet Seeds Jack 47....yum yum.

It's only been 10 days or so, but my Cali Orange is budding like mad! I do hope that it will continue getting bigger buds!


Innoculated all my pots for Fungus Gnats! Die Fungus gnats Die! That Shell No Pest strip is killing them all as well! Little bodies are everywhere!

Well, time to take the medicine! (Lola fires up her bong & falls into a coma)

It's my fave time to Clone and Plant tomorrow! Gotta wait till after 5:23 AM EST! I'm gonna do some clones too! Watch out Widows, WhiteBerry/Power Plant, SSH, Ice Cool! Gotta get some spring plants ready for the great outdoors!

Since today is semi fruitful, I potted up my puny NL #5 Haze seedlings. I will do more tomorrow. Flipped the last of the White Widows, even though they are just seedlings too... Show your sex or leave the area!

Killed 3 more Widow males this morning. Don't want em taking up room! Widow gals are 3 feet tall now!

My clones are getting so BIG in bloom! 3 footers already! Whoopee! They are fighting the Widow gals for every lumen.

Got one last transplant to get through. I need worm poop and dirt...don't wanna go to town..... poor me!

Now I'm fixin to go kill me some Fungus Gnats.

What do ya'll think about these devils? Is it just me? I have several plants that were started Valentine's Day. They are mere seedlings. They are slightly yellow. When I watered them, I noticed lots of lovely fungus gnats in the pots where plants were stunted. Do ya'll think gnats could cause these symptoms?

After researching the subject of killing fungus gnats with Mosquito Dunks, I still can't find any dosage for a gallon of water soil drench. So here goes nothing, my recipe for fungus gnat killing.

Fungus Gnat Killing Experiment #1: Add one tablespoon of mosquito dunk to one gallon of warm water. Soak overnight. Stir. Pour over soil as a drench. Get stethoscope and listen for tiny screams! (Well actually I guess it would be better to go back in 2 days and listen for sounds of tiny retching!)

Mosquito dunks don't work. Don't waste your money.

Git some "Monterey Insect Garden Spray" (with spinosad) in concentrated form. Mix 1 mil per gallon and water with it. You can spray the plants with it too. Gnats gone !!

Find it at Home Depot or a Garden Supply center / nursery.

I've done it many times and its safe on your seedlings and the roots.

It Could be worse! It's not as bad as mites. Hope you never get bugs Hippie! That Shell No Pest Strip is knocking em out pretty good. Little bodies are everywhere.

Those durn gnats snuck in some dirt and I have been fighting them for months. Every now and then I try to finish them off, then I think I have, then more dirt with gnats comes in!

Had to miss a perfectly good episode of CSI tonite. Went to town and got some Miracle Grow Organic Soil, Perlite and some Earthworm Poop! (Wish there were dirt alternatives available here.) There goes another $60. This is the most expensive weed I've never smoked...lol.

Looks like a big storm headed this way tonite...guess I better go unhitch the mules, unload dirt and tote it inside. This is the heaviest weed I've never smoked...lol.

It's a good thing Every Day is not fruitful. That gives me time to do other things, like tote water...haha.. Thanks for the kind words! I usuallly do the week ahead in Moon Gardening on Saturdays or Sundays.

I'm gonna be a clonin' up a storm tomorrow afternoon! I'm tired of planting! It will be a good time to finish up all the transplanting I need to do. I will be glad when planting is finished, crops are outside, and then I will let Mother Nature take over for a while! I need a transplant vacation!

Alrightey ho, 8 beans in the soil at 11.00 am BST, never planted the day after a full before in my life, but never close my mind to anything. I'll let you know what happens, 5/8 last time lets see if we can do better. cheers lola.

Whew! Just used 80 lbs of dirt and poop! Now that's transplanting!

All the White Widows got new homes, as did the WhiteBerry/Power Plant, Ice Cool, and Super Silver Haze. I still have to figure out something to do with the clones. I'm running out of big pots. Next time I think I will not try to do so many at once. lol. I have bit off more than I can smoke I think!

Now I just gotta take clones off all of them to preserve the genetics, and then I hope, I will be done until it's time to harvest. Yippee!!!

Thanks D4! It's SO true though, I'm broke from weed related purchases.

4- 400 watt lights/kits = $500
20 tons dirt = $300
Plastic pots = $200
Various supplies = $200

So far about $1200 out and no weed yet! Of course, most start up supplies will be re-usable, but I'm still poor! Let's see at $40 a 1/4 oz, I will have to pull about 8 pounds to break even....haha, no way I'll get anywhere near 1 pound..... (To clarify: I'm not selling weed or planning to) Please send donations....LOL.


Just got through cloning almost everybody in bloom! Took 2 cuts per plant, so if I get a Holy Grail at least I will have a backup copy!

I have one Ice Cool plant that stands out! She smelled SO delicious when I cut her. Smelled the best of any of the cuts I took! Anybody got a good system for identifying cuts? I have a bunch together. I guess I could stick toothpicks with tags in them, but not too crazy about that idea. Any suggestions?
