Hey Jaws, glad you stopped in to read about your famous Trainwreck. It's got quite the history to it, eh? Let's use this thread to try and indentify the various, different recreations of T.W. floating around.
Arcata Trainwreck
E-32 Trainwreck ( slight difference from Arcata cut, was before Berserker released it to the co-op's.)
Tuck's cut/woodhorse.seeds/meduser/vanwreck. Years ago Steve Tuck liberated an Arcata cut and crossed it with an Afghani to create seeds for his company Hillbilly Dreams, since then it is being re-released thru a canadian medical site. It has alot more red hairs and does not require stem support.
Alaskan Wreck... ?
NorCal Wreck... ?
Majour Wreck... Reeferman seeds. I have yet to see a detailed report.
Jo-Jo's S1's.
I'm sure there is more. Crosses do not count.

See this is what I'm talking about. There are so many different TW's. That's why I was wondering which TW was used in the Sour Cali cross. I also got some Cascadia which has Alaskan Trainwreck in it.

hello there :joint:
umm well i'm not very knowledgeable of the linage of the trainwreck any version i just know the the one i have is awesome, cant wait for the buds to start forming in clusters :woohoo: ......

i have heard of all three of the other you touched on but have no first hand info about them.....i do have the cascadia and a couple different crosses of the arcata cut....

i know nothing of "berserker" or "tucks cut" :chin: :chin: are there still seeds around from the hillbilly boys :chin: .......ahhh ya JOJO's the one who had the S1 trainwrecks, he was the only reason why i joined the cann sadly i never got to order anything, it was shut down days after i joined.....

i have passed out all of my TW and URKLE clones to friends, except one tw clone that i just stuck into soil this morning and one urkle that is still pushing roots out but not ready for dirt just yet....

i though what the hell i waited a long time to get these cuts and sooo i might as well run atleast one of my own clones right....
peace friends :joint:

Damn, I always seem a day late and a dollar short on all the really good stuff.LOL Well looks like I'll have to create my own special cross someday.
No kiddin' about there being a bunch of versions of the "Wreck" I 've heard the Arcata cut is the best, but I'de take any of em' . :yummy:

hello lorax :joint:
good Question i wish i could answer it but i cant :chin: ...but you are the second person today that has separated the E-32 and the ARCATA CUT i thought they were the same E-32 ARCATA CUT.....

i reaaly know nothing of the others mentioned but i do have crosses of a couyple of them.....i cant say yes or no because i do not know...i'm seeing this happen with a lot of strains lately TRAINWRECK, DIESEL, KUSH, CHEMDAWG things are getting very confuseing to the simple MJ grower..
peace bro :joint:

What is the Norcal cut exactly? The only difference between the Arcata cut and E-32 is basically when it was available. If you got the cut before it got to the clubs it was called one name & after it was making the rounds another. Basically.

I would get Casey Jones if you cannot get the original cut. There are phenos in the CJ that are actually BETTER than TW. GH would be a crapshoot at best.

I'm running a tester pack of H3ad seeds Trainwreck bx1 right now.. These were created by crossing the arcata cutting to a thai, and then backcrossing to the arcata cut. I know he released a small batch of these bx1's already, and I'm pretty sure he has plans to work the line further... Selecting, backcrossing to the arcata cut etc..

I'm only 12 days into flower now, but so far so good. I doubt these will be done by 50-55, but for some super heady thai bud... Shit I'll wait a lil longer with a big grin on my face:rasta:

lol Raco!

Hey everyone,

My two Trainwreak S1s (Jojo) 3 weeks from breaking the soil
picture.php

A Taskenti (same age) on the left and the Trainwreaks on the right. The small peat pot in front is a late germing Blowfish S1
picture.php

In about 1 month time I'll plant them out. Just spent 3 afternoons preparing the plot. Hopefully not too late!

I intend to bend the main stem over on at least one of the Trainwreaks, if they get tall enough, and let it re-root itself, so it will effectively be a single plant with two root systems. Hopefully this should help the plant support the weight of the buds and increase the yield if I'm lucky. This will be a bit of an experiment for me though, so I have no idea how well it will work.

Any advice or tips on doing the Trainwreak outdoors would be greatly appreciated :D
