Friday march 6th 2009 i was sitting here on IC like any other day,
it was a nice night everything was fine and then it happened.

its not easy for me to say this and hard to comprehend at times, but i was raided.
im now facing 2 class 3 felonies that carry a sentence of 1-20 years in prison and fuck who knows what they said 50 thousand dollars in fines,
and also caught a class 4 felony which carries a 0-5 years sentence.

im not going into details of the case at all because i havent yet pleaded or presented my case in court.

i just wanted to say goodbye ta all ya's.. its been goood but i guess im out.

Yep. It happens. Like the lottery. The odds of you getting busted are pretty slim as long as you don't have people trafficking in and out 24/7 or a big mouth. About the same as witnessing a super nova. But super novas happen thousands of times a second somewhere in the Universe. Nobody thinks they can beat the odds on the lottery but somebody will win the lottery.

Take responsibility and sue for the mercy of the court. When you are caught, you are caught. Look for the opportunity to plead down to state jail time or even less if this is your first case. Be cooperative without being forced to give up the sanctity of your personal relationships or who you really are.

This is going to work out. It doesn't seem like it right now and I know you are scared to death. Been there and done that. You find out who you really are and you will overcome this. There will be a break. You'll get a dispensation. The right thing will happen. Believe in you and believe in it because the alternative will be too painful to even contemplate so don't even put it in your thinking.

I know this sounds like sappy snarky advice from someone you don't know or give a fuck about, but you posted this thread and are obviously hurting and potentially open to finding alternatives to your thinking about what will happen and how you shall prevail.

You did the right thing. It's still all about you and nobody can take that away from you.
