I'm glad you're doing the guinea pig work on the Hortilux vs. Sunmaster. I'm interested in what the outcome may be.

What are you guys paying for bulbs?

To solve my meter/monitor issues I went with these:

Milwaukee pH Monitor

Milwaukee TDS Monitor

I'll be put off until Friday waiting for them. Gives me time to get some other stuff taken care of in the meantime. Should be rockin' and rollin' by the weekend though!

90 bucks. Yeah Im guinea piggin all sorts of shit like putting a 1 inch slab of coco in the bottom of my 5x5 pots for ebb and flo. Not good the only way it would work is if you watered like every 2 days. I just cut the bottoms off the pots yesterday I hope they come around. If not Im gonna scrap em out and slap some bubble jacks in that bitch. You ever seen them go holy shit you cant slow em down for nothin.

Hey mash your very creative.So heres one for ya. I have a g13 that got crossed by accident. I have no idea of the cross all I know is that I got 6 beans from it I popped 2 of them got 1 female and Ive been running it ever since. Its one of the best I have ever had and everybody whos had it says the same. So I need to come up with a name for her. Im gonna keep her around for a while. If I pop another bean who knows what that pheno might be.

Ya no what Im gonna go stoke a bowl of her right now. Im down to about 2 bowls left and aint no more comin for 35 days. Thats the best part of that strain it done with 50% amber trichs at 50 days.

That's the best part about this G13 cut I have too, speeds to the finish line. Lacks in yield though. You think I should even try ScrOG with G13? I don't want to waste the time if it's not going to be retarded in there during bloom.

I have a hortilux 1000 running side by side to a sunmaster 1000 and I dont see any difference yet. We'll see when they get fatter what happens. There 14 days into flower today and they already have little nickles on them. There gonna be huge. I'll try to get some pics to show later in the week.

1k eye conversion+1 k sunmaster mh=good combination. observed greater fruit density+reproductive glands w/ addition of sm warm deluxe.

vert w/ out hoods/cool tubes, so lights' colors blend. uvb+daylight floro+purple/red/blue/orange party lights for further spectral enhancement.

overall broader flavor/taste/density of fruits/veggies w/ addition of sun master 1k. bit leafier, but w/ increase in mass/aroma/flavor/terrior, alright exchange. if could only run 1 bulb throughout, would be cool deluxe or warm deluxe.

This thing I have is in the scrog and its thriving. Im not sure about the one you have if its a fast bloomer fuck it try it. You'll no in veg if its gonna work you want it growing really fast if its not just pull em out and drop em in hempy buckets and put on the outside edge of the grow and put something better in the dwc. You wont have any problems with the dwc catching up.

Best part about it? I haven't done shit in the veg room for 2 weeks. No PH, PPM, temp, humidity. Yet they thrive?

I'll try the same technique with the big rig. Less is more... even less human interaction I guess.

Pretty sweet. Looks like I could make that. I have a eazycloner got it from a friend for free. Thats the only problem with that magical strain I have. Its a bitch to get roots. Even in the eazycloner its been over 2 weeks and theres only a tiny tiny root on em.But shes soooooooo good so its worth the wait. Any advise on how to help em pop them roots out faster.

Aquarium heater to ensure proper water temperature. Took my rooting time from 14 days down to 4-7. I thought to myself it was bull, but proof's in the pudding.

Them roots look good Mash! What are you using in the tank? I used to do some graff. I went by MAZE. Used to be in a skate/graff crew could Jelly Boys. Some of my friends in the crew are locked up or passed on. Now when I have time RARLY I do some canvas work. Have you herd of the LORDS? I'm going to play around with a 12 cell XL next week outdoor. I also have some DWC out side at my house. Dyna-Gro is going to my only nutes. last year I had some monster plants. They weren't dank but a few hard to grow tropicals. Good luck on your next Grow.

Thanks but the roots deserve all the credit as I didn't do anything. The nutes in there are a chemical 3-part from Vita Grow, cheapest on the market. Works like a charm though, no complaints.

12XL eh? I was thinking two of the 12s in a 10' x 10'. Or is it better to do two 8XLs since the non-XL systems get a bit cramped? This is the 8XL by the way, just skipping two modules for now (legal terms).
