Hi everyone. I've been lurking under my boy Dr. Bloom's screenname for a while, but i have my own now-
...
He does most of the growing, but i help by mixing nutes and making sure that someone knows what day of flower everything is on and obsessively removing mildewed leaves and trimming bud and taking all the pictures to post here and of course SMOKING it. et cetera.
we're medical, in CA, growing for personal use...and maybe a couple good friends. Small-scale but quality is the idea, i guess.
We are currently flowering Sour Diesel (51 days), SFV OG (16 days), Flo (13 days) and Cherry AK-47 (13 days). G13 is on deck with an assortment of seedling testers (C99, C99xSSH, Herijuana) to follow. and we're smoking G13, Purple Urkle, F13 and Sensi Star from the last round. All of which can be seen here: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=108274 in the grow diary. and if i've babbled and rambled, you can blame that G13 and Purple Urkle. I still have trouble believing we grew such good weed in the closet.
Here's a sample. I'm sad I don't get to take pics of this plant anymore, because it actually photographed better than it smokes.

that's too bad, mzbloom. that looks like one fine plant. always wanted to grow something purple, and i'm waiting on some mandala #1's that might produce that purple plant i've always wanted..

Hippie Lettuce, I have actually had the Mandala #1, smokes pretty good, big dense buds....we grew it last year, but we didn't keep any mammas of it. Don't remember it having any purple though...

Mz Bloom, I love the flowers....too bad it doesn't smoke well. 
The purple urkle smokes great. i really like it in a bong because it is extremely smooth and creamy. incidentally, the dried F13 isn't very purple at all. more of a blue-gray cast to it. the purple urkle is a soft pale green with flashes of bright purple--much prettier bud.
thanks, mrs Swamp. The F13 isn't bad...it just was so spectacular to look at that we hoped it would smoke as spectacularly. And the purple urkle and G13 both smoke nicer. Maybe the F13 will be better after a good cure. or maybe it's just not the best pheno of F13, Dr B only grew out a couple and this was the best of like 3. No biggie at any rate...he's so excited about finding DJ's mother cuts of Flo and Blueberry that he doesn't care that the clone of the F13 died, lol.

I love that there is so much love given on this site, and it really excites me to be a part of this. I will be looking forward to hearing how your F13 cured out tastes as F13 is my favorite strain of all time!!! We have some FLO and Blueberry cuts that we have in flower now, and I think maybe 3 or 4 of each in veg. DJ's strains are my favorite....

I've seen swampdank around
Dr B is a big DJ fan. I haven't yet been able to try anything really good from his lines but with any luck I will soon (then maybe i can be a fan too!). If you have a grow thread on those dj cuts i'm sure Dr B has already been watching it, lol.
I still have some hope for the F13 because the scissorhash was pretty nice. not too fussed though, since we've got other good stuff to smoke on and more budding up as we speak.
Just thought i'd drop by and share a couple pictures from the Bloom closet. First is Cherry AK-47 at 52 days or so. excellent resin coverage!
and this is our Flo, also at 52 days in this pic. this plant got chopped at 55/56ish, dried out to about 3/4oz. very fast-drying and light bud for the look of it, unfortunately. smokes real nice though--has the floral smell and taste to it.

Some mighty fine pics ladies. I am kinda new @ this 2. Like all u ladies, my husband, shaunmulok is the gardener & I am the photographer & trimmer. We love all our purples.
We were a bit low for cash last summer, so we sowed an outdoor crop of just bag seed. Out of 10 plants we got this gorgeous lil ripper that had a beautiful purple tinge 2 it & lush resinous buds n leaves. We could not quite put a taste on it. In between passionfriut and berries. It was a lovely, pleasurable suprise.
I would love to do a room of f13. But that will have 2 wait as we r currently starting a test grow for karma genetics with some jack o nesia. We have core's dominatrix (sssdh+bogglegum f2) & Hansel's Bubblicious+calif. orange & Gdawg's callaway blue.
The test grows will start this week, so please check us out.
But ultimately I love a good purple plant. Seems popular with all us girls.
This is a pic of our bagseed purple surprise.
And it seemed to get darker as it ripened.
