strains you've "eliminated" from your garden this year

last night I was throwin some into flower, and a friend mentioned dumping ice and gonzo 2 out. never had a complaint about either, and in fact some nice reviews as well. so i killed these healthy plants, which allowed much more generous lighting for the strains we currently prefer.

also dumped this yr 3 NL strains, sensi, seedsman, and dp oasis. freebies thxsk1 went out. mazari freebie will go. also dumped a gifted clone.

thats 7 or 8 capable strains eliminated. is this wasteful? im sure hoping someone else has more.

If you don't enjoy the smoke, HELL NO it's not wasteful. It's sound gardening.

While I enjoyed them FAR more than anything available on the street locally. T*HazexSkunk#1 and Destroyer are too mellow for me. Trying some 8Mile now on a speed run. Trying to find a keeper with a one plant cab is slow going.

strawberry smile, dutch quality seeds(UK)

purple haze (unknown clone)
psycodelica (UK)

Not really by preferences but mostly by circumstance I got rid of:
Trainwreck (GHS)
Kali Mist (the pre 99 cut)
Strawberry Diesel
Nevilles Haze
Green Crack
Pine Tar Kush (lean green)
SSH (the romulator cut)

Lost alot of these by accident or need to dispose of evidence. Had to move across country so these got lost in the transition. but i have both CH9 Jack and Mazar I Shariff to work with for now. Of all I got rid of I wish I had the Kali Mist and the Green Crack back.

dp oasis had to go! also have dumped dp blueberry, double strawberry diesel, nirvana white widow this year

I got rid of nevilles, white rino, and arjans (flowering last arjans now)

I dropped mazar-i-sharif (freebies), really strong plant, very vigorous...the reason i wont keep growing it, is that it's way to leafy (2 females)...It may be a good option for those looking to do a cross...

the other strain is nirvana's blue mystic...i got only 1 female out of 10...i saved 2 of my favourite males, but i'm not sure if i should make seeds...is it worth it? i read a few reports...from what i read, it isn't that great...what do you guys think?

Why not? And even if you decide you don't want them anymore, and you live in a medical marijuana state, i'm sure you could always donate them to your local medical club...

SOL Donk -gave it a try, wasn't anything special.
SOL- grapefruit 1.1 also Ok taste, just, not special.
Ran full packs of each.
Also, tossed 3 Gonzo 1s- all sprouted a hermi ball in like exactly the same place on all 3.
Probably could have plucked them and would have bee ok, BUT I have somewhat restricted access to all the plants, and cannot be bothered to take chances with it.

Interesting that a lot of people are dumping their Mazar I Sherif's. I considered growing this out, but don't have the space at the moment. Good to know as I hate leafy plants.

I'd have to make room (chamber) for a male or two...also, my flower room isn't sealed...I wouldn't want to risk accidently pollinating the other females...

so there would be an investment of time and energy...just for some beans that I might or might not like (still haven't smoked BM)...I would, however, like to find the blue phenos...I'll have to think about it and make a decision, before they blow their load...

no, i'm not in an MMJ friendly state. But I do give away beans to my friends...

trying to tune my garden down to 6-7 killers...

I just tossed my AK47. Taste and buzz just wasnt their for me. Gonna be tossing a few Mango/widows this week, only got room for one keeper.
