Master Kush has a few days till harvest baby! Not only does she have an induced nitrogen deficiency, she also has a little bit of a magnesium deficiency. Some of the leaves are white! But I don't think it's effecting the size of these buds:

A question if I may.. I'm building your divider/light blocker idea into my cab setup.

I've been looking into the idea a bit more, it's a principle used in photography darkrooms, for the entrance/exit. I noticed in many darkroom designs, though, an extra middle panel is added, creating a U-shaped light trap.

Did you do any trial & error with these things? Did you find out a minimum effective height/length for full light trappage?

True, sometimes when things seem TOO simple my stoner brain can't see the woods for the trees. Will be painting the inside of the channels matt black so any reflections should be killed. Really pleased I saw this idea, as I was preparing to lose a considerable amount of space to 90 degree pipe bends!

Yeah I could have done that but I wanted to make it a little more simple and easy to build. There is a slight glow coming from the vent when the flower light is off and the veg lights are on, but it's nothing I'm worried about.

Cool, thanks for responding. I think I'm going to build the veg>flower divide as a U-shaped trap then, and definately coat with matt black on the inside too.

I'm glad this helped somebody! I mainly wanted to utilize this design because I wanted something cheaper and easier to build as well as something unique. Remember this my young stoner, always design your grow around what fits YOUR needs!

Oh yeah, I think I had to pull that one off.

The seedling that fell, BTW, is doing fine. You wouldn't even be able to tell which one it is because it never even stunted or anything. Go rez! I got a germenation rate of 7/7 for the chem haze diesels and 5/5 for the mazar. Yeeaa-Haww!

I'm very interested in how REZ's genetics will do micro style. All the threads with full scaled grows running his stuff have huge flowers everywhere!

Sour Diesel was the first named strained I've ever tried and I still remember that delicious candy taste :]

catman, you're right about the CHD, everybody grows 'em fucken huge from what I've seen, like 11 months of veg...

I'm going to have an update very soon, I just harvest all the tops, lowered the light deeper into the bush, and hopefully the rest of the buds will thicken up in the next 4 or 5 days.

I finally labeled the new seedlings. Not in any order, they're named γ, τ, ε, θ, λ, ν, π, ς, ρ, ω, ψ, and μ. Once they've been confirmed a keeper female they'll receive capital Greek letters, and the ones I select to be mothers will receive human names.

The CHDs will take a long time to finish and may get more veg time than the MISs. I don't have as I expectations for the MISs though, so I'm going to grow those a little smaller maybe and hopefully I can harvest them sooner. My plan is use the Jack Herer as the mother for a round of clones to replace the mazar-i-sharifs once those finish up.

nice cab i don't like the doors, but that can be changed later i would inset the hinges like others suggested and use a nice piece of laminate for the doors. you could get a custom cut slab of marble for the top so you have a place to trim and work. i might use your light trap design if u don't mind.

You should go perpetual in that bitch bro! I know I would, I like your cab nice job I just need a few 2x4's and I'll have a custom cab too but for now I'm rocking my desk turned flower factory and sideways dresser turned mom and veg cab.

here's my Mendocino Purple Master Kush and so far it's smells so nice and it doesn't look like the Mendo Purps everyone has to me and I was told it's different from that. Have you ever heard of it out of curiosity??

Also what do you think your yield on that is going to be?? looked like a nice bush I was guessing a little more than 1oz ???

It's still a better price than anywhere else. I'm about to order it once I get a pay check (just got a job as a pizza delivery boy, lol). HTG supply sells them with a pretty nice reflector and remote ballast for only $30 more and that'd be worth it IMO.
