thanks for the pop in middie, i hope they keep on putting out hairs and getting bigger, they are getting mad resin now, they smell like pine cleaner right now with a hint of fruit

I just read through your grow and it looks great. I am also doing a CFL grow in some rubbermaid totes. I wanted to comment on your light set up though. From what I have read it is better to position your lights horizontally rather then vertically because most of the light (lummas) come from the sides and not the top of the bulb. like I said this is to my understand but I believe I'm right. can someone back me up?
Also had a question about your reasoning behind going to 12/12 from seedlings. why did u do this and is there a major difference from doing a 24/0 light set up from the beginning for the veg stage (if only for a few weeks) and then switch to the 12/12. to my understanding the veg stage is when the plant is developing its root system rather then vertical grow (there is vertical growth but not as much as when if flowering). is my thinking correct?
anyway looks like u got an awesome grow going on and hope it turns out great in the end. Till then...peace

thanks for the invite to your thread. I will definitely be grabbing a been bag and sitting in for a while to see how this goes. I have a few questions for you as this is my first grow. You have used a few abbreviations I don't understand and if you don't mind too terribly, could you explain them and how you do them to me, so I can follow along with you like a good little learner...

What is all this. topping I think is taking the main growing shoot off along with about the first 3 nodes, but thought this was also called supercropping, is this correct. what is FIM? is that making certain their female? what is lst? I have seen that a couple of times around this board, but have NO idea what it means. and with all of this, when would it all be done?

they are in overdrive now yes, i see seeds forming so atleast 30 days if they stay healthy, they smell like the kind allready, YEAAAAA,

well done on the cfl grow its looking sweet on my last cfl grow the plants went just over a week from the expected finnish date but thet really fill out in the last few days !!!! good luck with the rest of your grow and your seed making eforts !!!!
