Yes a slight difference..Indica dom. plants should still flower under ths light regime..It makes the plants grow a bit quicker since they get an extra hour of light..13/11 won't work for a pure sativa or heavily sativa dom. plants

Hey everyone, thanks so much for sharing all of your experiences and knowledge. I'm extremely interested in trying this 12/12 method out, and I have two questions.

1. I'm going to be growing some Double Strawberry Diesel in coco, using a 1000w HPS. How far should i keep the light from the seedlings for the first few days?

2. Has anybody using this method experienced any problems revegging their plants after harvest? I ask this, because I'd like to choose my mother(s)after having sampled the finished product.

Thanks in advance for any help you cats can give me!

Hey guys, I have a quick question about temperature with "born in flower" grows (this is going to be my first attempt at it). My room drops down to about 56F during its dark period. Now, I want to have a cool dark period during my flowering period to try and enhance color and resin production. Should I wait until flowering actually begins before letting my room drop that low, or is that temperature ok from the beginning? Thanks! :pimp3:

56 is LOW for little tinys. Keep them above 75f untill theyre bigger. There is a good chance they'll yellow and not be happy that cold. Shit try a couple just to see what happens, use bag seed.

Can anybody here give me an estimate of how many plants I'd be able to fit under one 1000w HPS, if grown 12/12 from seed? Your help is much appreciated! :pimp3:

I haven't read thru all 80 something pages but I'm not sure if this was addressed. What is the nutrient schedule if you 12/12 from seed? I'm growing in FFOF with added perlite.

I'm seeing a pattern in long threads...especially the 60-120 page ones

they read the first 3 pages, get exhausted, then post their question

you end up seeing the same question over and over again through the long thread

I have no idea what the remedy would be...

RECAP
1) Yes, it's the same technique as used in nature/outdoor grows (12/12)
2) Yes, it's a seed based grow (not clones)
3) Yes, this is based on a soil grow
4) Yes, your potency will not be affected
5) Yes, your yield will be lower than vegging (for example 1oz vs. 3oz from vegging)
6) Yes, your plant will show sex around 25 days
7) Yes, it's quicker enabling you to make up for lost yield by growing another crop during the year
8) Yes, your plant will be as short as it's going to get (good for micro grows)
9) Yes, always being 12/12, you can add new plants at any time (reconfig lighting since heights will be different, perhaps vertical)
10) Yes, it's a more efficient use of electricity with lights being off half the time and hence more "green" for the environment
11) Yes, plant shape will be different with a main "pole" vs. a bushy plant leaving more room for more plants
12) Yes, nutes are just plain PH'ed water first 5 weeks, Pureblend Pro Flowering formula for soil, every 3rd watering (about once per week), at the recommended strength on the container. Flushed last 2 weeks by only watering with plain water
13) Yes, it works with hybrid strains, purebreds, bagseed, F1, etc...
14) Yes, you may get a runt somewhere but that's probably normal due to genetics and/or bad seeds

I just read all 82 pages...Feel free to correct me if I goofed
Perhaps c & p this every once in a while for our lazy friends...
