they don't smell that strong, yo have to put your nose up to them. The bubba kush smell was a problem even when I grew that. Seeped into the garage and all that. but these don't smell that strong. Different smells for different pheno's, the less sticky ones have a sweater smell and the sticky ones more musky. Both have skunky hints, which is fine, because I noticed witht he bubba kush, what it smells like on the stalk dosn't dictate what it'll smell like dried and cured.
i'm gunna be out of town for a few days in the beggining of curing this ES. So i wont be able to burp it for like 5 days. What does anyone suggest I do? does putting it in the fridge keep weed from getting moldy? I was thinking i could put it in one of those "Green Bags" made for keeping vegtables fresh and put it in the fridge. No?
The sticky ES pheno is starting to look really... sticky. I might have to flower out my current mother and make a clone from the sticky pheno the new mother, but we'll decide when we smoke it. Pics to come soon. 2.5 weeks till estimated harvest date.

Its hard to get good pics because If you take them with the light off, the low light causes the shutter speed to be slower, and they get blurry from me shaking the camera. If I use the flash, It wont focus, it keeps on auto-unfocusing at the last second. Take them with the light on, you get crips clear outlines, but with that yellow HPS tint that makes it hard to see. Oh well, these'll have to do.

Make darn certain that the herb is dry dry dry before you leave it in the jar for 5 days.
I would say at the least a four day dry. If it were me, I would have it dryer than I would think it should be. Prolly be perfect when you return.
No joke...I would let it hang for that long before I would stick it in the jar for too long. The initial spoilage of letting buds go too long before the first burp will make them taste nasty forever. You can always rehydrate buds that have hung too long and dried completely out.

Algrow, No hotter than 80 degrees, but usually pretty close to that. It has special vent sleeves and fan for the Lights. See Pic below
those are like dryer vent sleeves, with a fan on the intake blowing air through the light tube and out the other side. Are you thinking of modifying your setup? I can give you more info on the circulation system if you like.

they are looking really good have you looked at the trics yet? I have a 400 hps and a 400 cmh I really want to put in my cab if I can just find a way to keep it cool. I would think with the 6" fan I have would do it but I just haven't found the way for it to yet. Maybe with a cool tube but i want the uvb that the cmh puts off and the glass will block it I think. how much more room do you have for strech in your cab
they aren't close to touching the ceiling or anything, but the light is as high as it goes on the pulleys. I wouln't want them any taller. That cab can handle 2.5 foot plants. I think I learned this time around that hight doesn't necessarily mean yeild. I think next time (with the ES clones i took) I will aim for 18inches. I think I'm gunna do a SCROG too. SCROG should increase yeild, shouldnt it? I was gunna FIM them a few times too.
Trichs are mostly cloudy, some amber. My pocket magnifying glass is 60x-100x and 60 X is a little to strong for spying on trichs, can't see enough of them at once.
I think what I might do for the whole out of town dilemma is just chop em right before I leave so that they are drying while i'm gone, then put them in a jar to cure when I get back. I'll be gone 3 or 4 nights, so should be perfect.

nice, what strain is that? I don't think you can catch up, mine are just a few more weeks from chop. Maybe you were thinking of that mother I have that is about that size.
I never understood those hempy buckets. So you have some sort of a drip going on there? I see the screw eyes you were talking about a while back that you use for LSTing. So you upgraded your light? temps still doin okay?

and in the same waterfarm is ch9 flower in the other waterafrm I have ch9 aroma,and a real small ch9 flower that I broke the tap root on when I was putting it in with drip ring opps my bad
I was talking bout the ones you have in veg the bag seed one.but I am gaining on you thought and you are still try to catch up with me I already havested 3 when you first started 
there not a hempy bucket mine are just waterfarms. There so easy to use a child could use it. It has a air pump that pumps water up the drip ring and I have a air stone in the res for when the roots hit the res and then its a dwc system each one has 2 gal res so it take like 5 mins a day mess with all i have to do is top it off and once a week change the nutes that takes like 20 mins tops.I love them you can grow trees in them .look what this guy is doing with them http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=17105 Yeah I got the 400 in there right now with the temps staying around 73 to 76 I modfide the hood a bit to suck more air but left the glass off so the uvb rays will still hit the plant I'm pretty sure thats what the cmh bulb I have puts off.

That bagseed i'm trying to veg big enough to take a cut off of, to determine the sex and possibly use it as a mother. Its been growing slowly because i'm burning it. I thought I had it dialed in now, at like 430 PPMS, 275 of which is already in the water out of the tap. Its jack herer. But now i see what you mean by catching up, makes sense now. Do you wait till cotyledons yellow or die before you add your first nutes in hydro? maybe its a rule I should start to follow.
The ES is almost 9 weeks into flower, buds still seem to be growing new growth, based on my observation of new pistils. I know you are supposed to harvest by trichombs not pistils, but with the amount of white pistils remaining, especially towards the tops of the buds, I wonder if this will all be done even at 11 weeks! I mean, you dont want to chop it while its still growing new growth right? thats like forfeiting weed. Has anyone ever heard of harvesting with more than half the pistils still white? Maybe things will start to speed up. These plants aren't turning all kinds of yellow and purple like my bubba kush did, but I had the nutes and PH all F'd up on that grow. Maybe its because I didnt shorten the lights cycle towards the end of the cycle? We'll just have to wait and see. Shit definitly doesn't finish in 6 weeks like dr green thumb says, more like twice that. I've found him to be a jerk anyway, if anyone's ever talked to him, and others have shared with me that they have had similar experiences. Not knocking the quality of his genes or seeds, i'm just saying his manners and customer service is lacking. Some people are just like that.

first are you using the f/n on the one's in veg. If soo I think you are not feeding it a nuff I already have all of mine on the 8 ml a gal. I put all of them on it when they hit the 2nd set of leaves I haven't found any strain thet cant take it and they burn from nute burn. It is very possable that the es is done you have to go by the trics not the pistils I would take some with mostly cloudy trics and then take some with amber and cloudy trics and then try to take the last bit of it with all amber and see what you like better.I don't know what kind of high you are looking for. but if I was going to keep a strain that is what I would do. unless it is supost to turn colors like it's in the genes of the plant in hydro I have never seen mine change to yellow even with a 3 week flush of just r/o water it did change to a pale green almost neon green but not yellow so I would say start your flush now.
