theres something unique and beautiful about little flouro plants. I think the buds definatly glisten more and from what i hear flouros can increase trich production. Definatly better than the hps buds i see. I think flouros provide a much more natural spectrum.

Damn, you guys are doing a real impressive job over here.I'm going out and buy some of these lamps and test 'em out on my htc skunk ibl.Kahleel I saw that pic in free your bud shots that was some nice looking shit and it came from these lamps!?I'm slowly getting behind the times,it used to be all you needed was 4' cool whites to start and 1000W hps to finish.Stoked, I'm really down with these results.Whats the best all around setup?Damn, Chaco.

this is about average, veg'd (a little LST) 3 weeks then flipped. by the time its dried and cured, probably 10 grams, sometimes up to 15.

yup, i think trich production might be more packed...


interesting thought on whether floro is closer to natural light, i'm not sure. but i do know that floro plants don't always have to be "little"... lol














pulled almost 2 ounces off this bad-girl. but she was vegg'd for 6 weeks, and LST'd. all about how big you want to grow them, a floro can do it just like an hps or mh. only difference i can see is in density of the buds, definitely a bit lighter with the floro's. especially on the lower nugs, as the light doesn't penetrate very far. but keep an even canopy and all's kosher.

hey the thread is still around! lol sorry i haven't had much bloom going on. give me two weeks and things will be rockin.

for now, enjoy the bloom room. mostly Willijuana x Trainwreck, a couple Grapefruit x TW in there too.... the entire room is at day 37 in bloom, except the WJxTW in the far right corner at day 44.

I just have to start off by saying there are some amazing pics and some amazing growers in here. I have much respect for all yah! GOOD JOB PAT YOURSELVES ON THE BACK! When you guys say flourescent, you mean CFL, or the actual flouro tubes?...

If your interested in seeing the power of only CFL... check my member gallery.. Its all 1 plant, my first grow from a bagseed. Under approximately 150W of CFL lighting.. (its split up between 4 light bulbs and 3 other lamps.. ranging from 13W-42W).
