heh, awesome to see the whole crew is still around. im not germing anything dont think im planning on it either, this newer location isnt what i would call a good one for playing in the woods.

but ive got another little thing going on....

im expecting some fungi spore's in a week or two (ordered)
going to walmart tomorrow and buying all kinds of things for mushroom's.
basically i need to buy some jar's, straw or hay, some no funk bagged horse crap and a couple rubbermaid tub's.
it's going to be a very different hobby, a little more delicate than my previous gardens.

I saw a post yesterday where one of the guys called me "Uncle" Mossy and it reminded me of our dyslexic Scotish M8 Tweed and the old days at NWS.
Shame when old friends go missing.

I am still talking to Micro too..even though he keeps outgrowing me..
He is just not posting ATM.

Shroooooooooms...that will be a new adventure.
I have never had one.

Well...I never even had a spliff until I was about 35..
I suppose I am just a late starter.

Could you not get an indoor going..or are Fungi more fun?

IF the Spanish goverment legalised cannabis for medical use..
and I got permission to grow because of my medical condition.

Could I not then sue the UK government for Not allowing me to grow...

Surely that is the basis of the whole EEC thing.
Same rules for all of the participating countries.

The UK government would them be denying my basic human right..
because I could not return to my country of Birth..without fear of prosecution.

Think it would stand up..?

well with shrooms i dont need grow lights or loud ventilation... im going to set a few rubber maid tubs with no electricity running to them at all. you should deffiently look into mushrooms their a unique experience.

Mine got it in the grow-cupboard..same time as yours.

I had two days before I went to the UK..so I cut down everything that was almost ready.

I wanted the seed as priority..
so I washed the harvested ones that I could see the mites in..
washing-up liquid and water.

It seems to have worked.
I harvested the seed with no signs.
and so far..
no ill effect on the bud..

I sprayed the grow cupboard with a stong solution of Jeyes fluid.
Hopefully THAT worked..
coz I had to bung the WR back in there yesterday to save her from the storm.

Spider mites cannot survive in dank wet conditions. They need dry warm.

yall need to go get yourselves some neem oil (I'd check ebay)
its organic and one of the most used method for getting rid of mites...

mossy im pretty sure their just for fun.
ive never heard of someone eating shrooms for back pain relief or somthing similar.

Hi Mossy,
Here is a picture of my 4 male LR#1xBlockhead, the blockhead were freebies and came with my LR#1 order last year. Out of 15 seeds I culled 5, and there were 4/6 male/female. All the males are auto flowering and only one female is auto flowering. I have to admit that a 50% auto ratio on the F1 is pretty lucky.

When did you plant the Rasputin...they look exactly the same age as the ones I germed when I got back from the UK.
Looks like we are going to be bud-buddies for this grow.



I planted them fri/sat.
No soak straight to soil..so it was 3 days afore I saw them through.



The one on the left has just been transplanted into 42 ltr pot...
approx 4-5 weeks old.
I want to give her her head for some measures..see what I can get out of her.
give her another week to 10 days to get fully into flower..before I stop her with a pollenation.
The ones on the right are 3-4 weeks old.

I have stripped the males of all flowers below the growing tip to give me the extra time I need.

hey. mushrooms are for medical use as a matter of fact. but you dont eat nearly as mush.

G/L in you endeavours mossy! i hope you end up able to grow without fear of prosecution. thats what EVERYONE deserves, but not many people have the oppertunity to get.

Make a flow-hood, thats the best piece of advice you'll ever get with that endeavor. Its all about a good pressure cooker and sterile environment. Everything else is easy.

ive got a pressure cooker, i just wish it was a bit larger but it will do.
flowhood huh? ive never really looked into them.... i'll do some reading.


i think with growing shrooms you spend most of your time preventing things from happening while they grow themselves.

smoke i used to grow alot of shrooms i used vermicilite water and rice pure natural rice and man that was the best as far as producing out of cakes also the easiest to stop contamination then you can always break the cakes into caseing and really produce if you ever need and help feel free to ask

I have a bowl of trics/chuff/calyxs that I have collected.
Mix of everything I harvested.

I have been looking at my seed box and I have some very exciting things to play with.
My fingers are itching to germ more..just to see what they look like.

My problem...too much bloody choice..I want to see them all.
