Angel Dust gardening from seed :canabis:

This ibl never produces s1.

Bubble Dust gardening from seed :canabis:

The Bubblegum in this plant produces a few abnormal flowers/colas if/when placed under too much heat stress.

... observational fact.

Hempy is dead right, sativa's, particularly equatorial ones don't like intense light and in order to mature properly indoors should be given less intense light. 40w per square foot is probably about right, certainly no more than that. Sativas given too intense light indoors will indeed produce running, wispy buds as hempy describes. Why does Hempy know this? Cos he's been growing sativas indoors for decades.

Hempy is also spot on about sativas not requiring 18 hours of light to veg, in fact, anythign more than 12 hours will keep most sativas in veg, why waste the electricity, they are naturally evolved to veg with around 12 hours of light.

I'm currently growing a pure Thai line that I vegged for 90 days at 12/12 from seed then dropped the light regime to 11/13 to induce flowering. She has been growing through the winter months with lights out temps dropping as low as 6 degrees c and lights on temperatures around 19 c. As hempy says, sats don't mind cool temperatures, they can tolerate a wide range of temperatures and no, temperature will not induce them to express an intersex trait.

I've grown over 20 landrace pure sativa lines indoors under lights and in all but two cases I was able to flower them to full maturity by applying the basic techniques Hempy and DJ Short taught me through their writings. From Hempy I learnt about rootbinding and less intense light and from dj I learnt about placing the light off at a distance at an angle and adjusting the light regime and humidity to better suit sativa expressions.

The traditional view about sativas being impractical indoors is based on traditional grow techniques, however, by adjusting the techniques used, it is indeed possible to grow sativas to full maturity indoors, there are many examples on this forum.

i grow a few satvas...i grow with 50 watts per sq. ft on 12/12...nothing wispy about my sativas im not saying you cant grow them under 40 or less...but to say they wont finish properly or they do better under less light is insane

all that bugs me about gh was that i thought by getting my seeds from their coffeeshop direct that i would get a better germination rate
and the fact that 15 did not sprout at all
and that nobody from gh answered my e mail
and they swear that they are hermie free
when 1 of my cheese went hermie too

peace out :joint:

maybe you do what you do and i do what i do..i do not remove my plants leaf..the plant drops the leaf when it is through with it..the leaves are the plants and not for me to decide to remove because i think it is dead..when the plant sucks all that it wants from a leaf it drops it...if you believe in hacking and trimming more power to you...but maybe next time save the leaf trim part to your self look in a brothers gallery and drool...peace

What strais are you growing there upgrade? Looks like Sour Diesel to me. SD is in no way the kind of sativa we're taling about. Hempy and I were referring to pure sativas which don't like intense light. Hybrids are bred to grow indoors and therefore like intense light. Sativas of the type we were talking about aren't adapted to indoor conditions and therefore require some tweaking of the conditions to flower and mature properly.

Upgradeshaft.. Great looking Sour Diesel bro' :headbange

Many Growers sometimes do that intentionally ,,

we call it letting the plant Die Standing ....... it's simply letting it start to Die while it's still Planted ..... and after the flushing ....

Many say that most plants when go by that process get into ''shock'' and boost up thricome production on those last days.... :muahaha:

I know a 10/10 germrate on GHS CHEESE , and 5/5 on GHS GWS ... :muahaha:

the cheese is strong with me my friends.... :jump:
jejejejejej :joint:

second set of pics are sour diesel ibl first set of pics are pre 98 kali-mist i know the difference between a indica and a sativa man...i also would love to help any of you guys get bigger buds if you would like any tips from my experience...peace

upgrader :

We always personally remove the dead leaves in the garden to help prevent mold. Anaerobic bacterium love to congregate on plant dead matter. Tends to keep the plants heathy and the garden tidy

The plants are also slightly over fed judging by the leaf tips,, this will make fan leaf crispy,, and counters the whole idea of drawing nutrients from the plant during the latter stages of bloom.

Like you say each to their own

Nice plant not the less... :canabis:

Peace out

ok lesson one when somebody clearly knows what they are doing and it shows in their budability you dont tell them what you dont like about what they do....instead you ask them how they do what they do so maybe you can too...peace
