Quick catch hazy.......has now been edited.

No mentioning of varieties ya'll... please....this is a blind judging event.

Thanks,
dg

Personally, I think it's EXTREMELY important to keep it a 'blind judging' event.
Look at all the testing done on placebo effect, all I'd have to do is voice the name of a proven top strain to sway the judges. Right?

I've got some stuff that, because of it's name, is ADORED by most, but quite frankly is less potent and enjoyable than some lesser known varitieis.

I'm not the jealous type, but DAMN you guys!.....I WANT IN!...lol...:D

as has been said its all about meeting up and getting stoned on some good herb and hash. having a place is all that matters. a bit of good sound in the background and maybe we can organize a buffete with some stuff from the local supermarket. provide a bunch of stoners with those basics and they will be sure to have a ball, specially in Ams. wonder if Nol will be around this year?

I wish that Passover did not fall on the 19/20 April this year. Would love to be there.

Talked with MileHigh and he sais Nol is living in Spain..Probably will not be around but who knows...
I have to agree a little quieter get together makes it easier to communicate..
Music is wonderful, just not so loud you can't hear yourself scream....:muahaha:

Gypsy,
if you come back through just wanted to ask what the size of the place is at Pollinator Co...Will this just be used for the judges or is there room for people to sit and smoke/chat?
I'm sure there are plenty of coffeeshops in the area that we can overflow to but just curious about the plan for non-judges...
Thanks in advance...........................................CC

I would say there is plenty of space for people to hang at Pollinator Co. i kniow there are a few couches and loads of space. All you really need is a meeting place then go off and explore.

Not sure if I'll have enough weight to enter but I'll send some samples for everyone to try.I've got a couple Vanilla Luna and Cocoa Kush buds set aside.

Good luck to everyone.

Excellent, Mila is a really nice woman, i wonder if she remembers me from the Cannabis Cup a few years back when I cracked my ankle and almost fell on her as I fell over, she was really kind as I was in agony.

Fantastic there is no entry fee this year, I can attend AND have an entry. No mention of variety but I've got a really unusual sativa that will be harvest in 2 weeks, not long for it to really cure well, but what the hell, be fantastic just to say I actually entered something.

I've been saving a bud from each of my best plants I've had recently, really looking forward to the cup this year, last year i got all paranoid and didn't bring anything with me...

Pollinator Co. is about 8-9 meters across to 25-30 meters deep.
High ceiling.
There's a big table up front, and one in the back with a couch.
Add a couple folding tables, voila !
Very nice people.

yeah, i agree, pollinator co. is a decent size. last time i was there the back area was filled with exotic plants and the like. if they were to move those for these few days there would be plenty of space. i should be making it representing the midwest, maybe with an entry, just gotta make sure i can get a hotel room for a decent price.

hope to see some of yall up there...

cheers

Oy what an awful frightning thing to happen on vac in Amst. Must have been quite hard getting around and home etc.

Mila is wonderful. I use her Isolator bags. This cup will be marvelous, different, and so much fun.

We do not wish to affix a price yet for a Judge this year until we have an idea of how many entries the IC Mag 420 Growers and Breeders Cup may have, but be assured it won't be expensive. Judge Passes will be available for purchase on site in the dam with no advance sales. The 'on site' location for receiving a Judge package will not be pre-announced.

Gypsy and I look forward to welcoming all past attendees as well as those making the trek for the first time this year! :D

It's almost PARTY TIME! :joint:

See you in the Dam!
:D

See above, taken from my first post, in answer to your question about Judge pass.

Thanks!

Hehe, Mila's only a little lady, she exclaimed something in Dutch that meant something like 'friggin hell, that was lucky' as I just missed her. Lawrence Cherniak was funny, he looked at my ankle, saw it was purple, poked it with a finger and I nearly screamed, so he gave the wonderful diagnosis - 'yup, that's fucked'. It was just before Gypsy started throwing handfuls of packs of free seeds off the balcony.

I had to get a taxi from the Melkweg to the medical centre, got them to wrap lots of crap around it and finished my holiday. I dodn't break the main bone, just cracked it so I could actually walk on it, just had to take it easy, I remember smoking silly ammounts of hash after I did it! I'll have to dig out my pics from that Cannabis Cup, there is a funny pic of me stood talking to Eagle Bill and Lawrence Cherniak, funny thing is they're probably the two smallest guys you could find in the Canna world so they look even smaller stood next to me! lol

My reply was something like 'What does the Dr stand for at the beginning of your name?' He did tell me what he's a Doctor of but I can't remember, certainly isn't osteopathy! lol

Right, I've booked my flight - 130 quid on KLM from Manc, I'll be in the middle of the Dam for about 3PM on Saturday afternoon (19th) and flying back half nine on Monday night.

I've booked my hotel too, the place I usually stay had rooms available - Hotel Old Quarter, clean, really friendly and helpful and right in the heart of town on Warmoesstraat, only 50 euros a night too, I've stayed there loads of times and it was the first hotel I ever stayed in in Amsterdam 12 years ago.

I'm really looking forward to this year, had a good time last year but stayed in a hotel all the way up in on Marnixstraat behind the Melkweg which was a pain. Any news on what events/happenings will be going on?

Did someone mention Willie Nelson is playing in Amsterdam on Monday night?
