some thai stick back when was diped in opium .so if you smoked it in the 70 some may have been soaked in opium and would knock you out blind .

from the hundreds of strains ive tried in my lifetime ive never smoked that weed that i couldnt finish a blunt.id lov to smoke that shit.a one hitter quitter or 2 or 3,were is it. im always the last one tokin.ive heard of colombian wacky weed being that strong but i wasnt around for it.

Jazmin from Mandalla seeds just posted a report that said Satori had a 28% thc content from apprently a recent "lab test". First Id like to point out that I whole heartedly love Satori and Mandalla Seeds.......
But C'mon...28% of what?????? How are these tests run? Im not so sure they are all done the same. Is it a % of the actual "trichrome" or a % of plant matter?
Ive shared much of my "outstanding" crops of Satori with MANY longtime stoner friends. Though they were ALL quite impressed with my acomplishments, not one ever stated that it was the "stongest they ever smoked".
Those who've seen my threads know how thick-dank my grows/buds are, as to say that im not some half-ass grower. but it suprises me to see that Satori is, "in fact" , claiming to be "the most potent pot in the world". When many have smoked it and NOT said that...
Just my 2c and hope not to offend too many peeps...lol

for me sour D, sometimes, sometimes not AK47, cali kush, but the most potent as shit bud i ever burned in my life was haze, it was called florida haze about 8 years ago. 2 hits had me fucked up all day...it was too potent, my knees were rocking while i was driving home, i got lost in the town i have been in all my life. i actually came to a light, and all of a sudden did NOT know which way was which, and i drove this route regularly. i wouldn't even want that again. for me good sour d and good nycd and good kush are the best.

Right now there is a cut going around Florida Black Haze,from a cross of Flying Dutchmen's Original Haze and Mr Nice Black Widow. It's definetly 2 hit shit. The most expansive herb very tasty on the exhale.

well the most intense experience i've ever had with MJ was smoking Pine tree, or christmas tree bud sometime around the fall of 95 or 96 ..
I'm sure I've had some very potent weed over the years but this pot actually had 3-4 friends and myself tripping.. seeing red.. curled up in the fetal position.
I wish I still had some of that.

The p91 used to be anyways in my neck of the woods(San Diego) when grown right i am sure since the genetics didn't just fall out of the sky (or someones arse) one day that I have smoked a pheno of something close to it in potency but not often or on the regular for many a year. now when I first heard about the ogxsd I shit myself i was able to out smoke anyone i knew w went into OBD and was told if i could take a bong rip of this one kind of bud and hold it and not cough they would buy me a quarter of bud got some og x sour d and took it home called up my friend who hit nearly everything I hit no problems and did a rip of this and fell in love with it loaded him up a bong rip and the fool hit it dropped my bong and cracked it fell out of his seat and smashed his head on my boom box and fecked it all up as well homie passed out! I was pissed about my bong and my radio as i should have been but still couldn't help laugh my ass off funny ass sh*t! still got my radio tho and occasionally I call the Knuckle up and give him sh*t about it and laugh!

Serious Seeds has some varietys that are right up there with the strongest available. I recommend you check into them.

Wizzard, I think when they say "this strain has 22% THC" it means that 22% of the cannabanoids in the cannabis is THC and the other 78% is some other cannabanoid like CBD or CBN. It sounds like the percentage of THC is in terms of concentration not amount like weight.

By the way, supposedly Satori by mandala seeds has 28% THC wich would make it one of the most potent strains in the world.

As far as I know Cannabinoids are not measured as a total weight all lumped together. It has little value to be measured like that.
THC% is measured as a percentage of the dry weight of the plant materials, herbal or resin. And if the THC is 22% it does not follow that 79% is other Cannabinoids, what about stems, flowers, leaves, resin? They do have weight. Yes 22% of the 250 grams will be THC. It makes no difference what the total weight is a pound, ounce, gram, it is 22 % of that amount, if the THC content is 22%. BTW, Hemp is a maximum of .2% THC or 100 times weaker then 22%.
Mel Franks book is a bit outdated, he is using 1974 info and Cannabis science has learned a lot since then like that there are 66 Cannabinoids found in Cannabis not 37 that Mel reported back then.
