i have a silly question, even though i've probably already smoked a haze and didn't know it, everyone keeps talking about that 'haze smell'? what exactly does it smell like? is it that lemoney fuely odor? with a little nose tingle (spice?)
as i keep going through images to try to see what exacly my girl resembles, the closest i've seen so far was in a post by british hempire showing his super silver diesel haze pheno. his plant and dried buds looks pretty close to a dead ringer for what i've got - although i'm not sure how to identify haze traits 100%. i can post a picture of a dried bud if it would help.
i am so impressed with all the different strains you guys are growing here, wish i could sample them with you guys! they all look so different from each other.

Nice pics Red,great close-ups.They are frosty now and should look even better in a few weeks/days.Good luck with the skunk.My sensi skunk#1 was not very skunky at all,more fruity.I don't think they know what skunks smell like in europe.lol.

Haze cannot be disrespected it is truly in a league of its own with only a few others (Diesels', Purple Urkle, Kushes) I have seen a lot of commercial hazes over the last 10 years and they truly do vary to the expertise of the grower, Not all hazes are Airy. And Yes all Hazes do have the same odor/smell no matter what they are crossed with that is the Haze dominance and the beauty with this strain. I have seen some truly heavenly haze crosses Blueberry/Haze circa year 2000 incredible, Sour Diesel/Haze, Chocolate Haze, and the list goes on and these were all commercial. Haze buds can have different looks from buds that are White, Green, Black, Grey, to Orange. but it is the tropical taste with the sandalwood aroma that sticks in a room for hours. There are so many haze crosses out there with true hazes going 90+ days and some good crosses going 75+ days but it depends if you are growing for yield or for connoisseur ship. Haze can be very tricky to grow and is extremely finicky only other comparable strain I have dealt with with similar sensitivities would be DJ Short's Original Blueberry, and If someone tells you Haze is overrated HAS NOT smoked the real thing in its 300+ versions please don't judge the strain judge the GROWER! Kudos to ya philly....I had some haze the other day locally from a friend since times are a little dry by my way and it didnt taste like the haze from Nyc it tasted almost like a dro instead of a haze.....it was good but did not have the racy cebrebal buzz from the Nyc haze that im used too..... stuff will have you babbling for hrs.....lol

i guess i will show you guys what i am talking about, even though i feel odd posting images of her. feels like showing your wife or girlfriend naked on the internet, ha ha i left the jpg large so you can zoom in and look in detail.
this is one of her sidebranches during flower, it's probably about 40 days from the switch to 12/12. she doesn't yield commercial maybe 3/4-1 oz per 2-2.5 ft height. she has about 10-12 of these side branches at that picture time, and also the central cola. the side branching is all natural with no topping required. notice how it grows its buds in little poofs at each node. this one side branch is probably 1.5 ft long from the main stem.
ok this is one of her buds drying after 65 days of 12/12. it looks smaller then it really is in the picture, but its about 3 inches by 2 inches. you can see its airy and fluffy, and yeah i know leafy, but it doesn't matter, no matter what you smoke of it, its the same stone, even after 7 day hang dry. she is smooth and stones you, no cure. the cure just seems to make the creeper effect a little bit quicker, instead of 7-10 minutes until your soaring in the clouds, maybe 3-5m. but still the same end result in buzz and duration (maybe a tad more intense). which i think is pretty long compared to the piney smelling strains, which can completely vanish for me in 30-35 minutes. this one will get me going 1-1.5hr+ (just 1 full 1 hitter, maybe 2-3 pulls to white ash it)

uber21 - i know what you're talking about that racy high. in the same saved bag seeds that this mom came from, i had another girl which has been lost (didn't know how to keep moms then) she grew single cola and had a smell of sour grapefruit, just as if you cut a real grapefruit in half and stuck your nose in there. nose tingling soury smell. when she was cured she had a very similar smell to this current girl, that lemoney citrusy pinesol odor, but with a touch of sour grapefruit in the air. her buzz was instantly intense and racy. i mean heart pounding where you are pacing back and forth for 20-30+ minutes, and talking really really fast (coke-weed) while taking lots of deep breaths 
- i did not like the high very much from her, but i know lots of you like that feeling, too much paranoia for me. this new one i have is 100x more mellow and relaxed, and the initial racy feeling to get that point is only 10-15 minutes that has to be endured and only if you over indulge.

To be honest I dont like that type of effect the cokeweed example is a good term for it.lol..which normally happens with any type of sativa that is chopped to early.imho thats why its best that you grow ur own shit...but the haze I used to get from the city was a racy energetic high that made u very talkative and enegetic...not to the point of paranoia...But I did have a time of strong paranoia and bad anxiety off a small joint I smoked...sucked

XooX-For my judgement it is a little to early to say if it is Haze or Hazy, Sandalwood is a type of incense that can be purchased everywhere extremely popular and is said to give of positive energy/vibes when lit! unmistakable odor/smell/aroma
Some Commercial Purple Urkle one of the best batches I have ever come across, extremely dialed in flavor and high smoke report in my Diary

I have a comment regarding Stonedstoopids germination problem with the milky discharge.
In the past ten days, I tried to germinate 12-15 Black Domina beans from Sensi. At the same time, in another paper towel with ziplock, I had five seeds from some super kill from south philly (i have no idea what the strain is supposed to be, it was extremely perfumy, but I found these seeds in one bud so I decided to pop them)
i put them on top of my vented 400, really not too hot i did not think. I put the bag with the BD on first, then put the bag seeds on top of that.
Bear in mind that these Black Domina seeds are over six years old. Only two popped. One did beautifully, fully busting out of its casing. The other popped and started a tap root. When I tried to pick it up, the tap root popped off, and I noticed a milky white discharge coming from the seed. This tells me one of two things. THe poor results are likely due to age of the seeds, but it also could be too much heat. The five bag seeds all germed, but they were not old. This is the first time I have seen this as well, but I have also never tried to germinate seeds that I knew were at least six years old.
I am on day 52 of my first 1000watt run. it is a joke how much bigger and juicier things are. I used to pull five full large mason jars (well trimmed, no popcorn included) from my 400. I do not have a scale, but I am planning for 8-10 large mason jars this time. all fat, there is no popcorn on these plants. I wish I could share a pic, because I am really proud of this run, my best yet in seven years.

another month tops i think, im only one man, hard to smoke all this bud by myself.
now that im back on pbp, everything is looking super healthy again.
didnt want to post anymore pics of the beat up plants w/ the teas regimin.
i have 9 ladies in flower of my BPP, planted about 20 to begin with.
thought i had 13 girls, but 4 showed male balls late, so i culled em.
i also have 6 amnesia crazes in flower too (amnesia haze x abk((i think its abk))
just finishing up a mango haze male, he's pumping out the pollen.
after him, im shutting down the male room for awhile.
im so sick of seeded buds, effin pollen is impossible to control

Frank...take your time with the beans bro. Have you ever looked at the thread with the pollination chamber that you put in your flower room? It's made with a rubbermaid. Very cheap, and it's supposed to work really well. I think I might have seen it on one of JDOG's posts. It's been a long time, but I'll find it and post a link. I wanted to do the seed thing, but know all about sorting seeds and didn't want to seed my whole crop. I am afraid to try to make a male room, cause the only place I could do it is close to my flower room, and like you said, it's tough to control the pollen in an environment like that. With the chamber, you just stick a male plant with whatever females you want to cross and leave 'em together to make sweet sweet love. Let me know what you think if you have time to check it out.
BTW, as soon as I grow that bubba cross out, I'd be glad to see to it you get the best mom, as I just read you sent them all out. After seeing what Philly did with it, makes me want to pop them, even with this Bubba I've already got. Had no idea what the makeup was of your cross till yesterday. Guess I should have paid better attention.
Bearfoot and Inject Truth...Nice fungus boys. Been quite awhile since any of that has passed between these lips. Don't know if I'd enjoy it anymore. Used to eat alot of paper in the day, but that makes me cringe just thinking of it. Shrooms are much more mellow, though the ones my boy used to grow are nothing like the commercial cow shit shrooms we used to get. Do you guys know what kind you're growing? Just curious.
Amish...Dude, I remember when all I saw you post was the Skunk #1. Now you got yourself some new gear it looks like, hope you enjoy the change. Glad so many people have been blessed with killer genes from some truly generous souls. You got me jealous with that Blue Cheese. Make sure you keep us updated on that one. I've heard a few bad things and alot of great things with that one. Hope you get the best of the best pheno, bro. Still sticking with that Skunk #1 lineage though I see,lol. BTW, you mentioned your skunk was more fruity than skunky. Skunk #1 was never really skunky. More like hype to sell the beans. At the time skunk was very popular, so everything was skunk. Kinda like the haze craze. Or the Kush craze. Or the .... Anyway, if you want some skunk, keep tabs on my grow. If it turns out to be something you may be into, all ya gotta do is say the word brother, I got ya covered. Maybe you can give me a ride on your horse and buggy,lol. Seriously though, you're one of the good ones. As a side note, my skunk beans have been in paper towels for two days now, tonight will make three and still no sprouts. I know the seeds are pretty old, so I'm hoping for the best. Let you know tonight after work.

One last thought...Tried a little bud of the SDOG last night. I cut it at day 47. Just a tiny bud off the very bottom of the plant.Wasn't even completly dry when I smoked it, and I am planning on letting it go 70 days give or take. All I gotta say is wow. Had me totally ripped. Couldn't believe it. I just wanted to see what the taste was like. I wasn't really expecting a good taste or any buzz that early, but being the impatient guy I am, I had to try it. Call it a birthday present if you will. That's how I rationalized it anyway,lol. Taste is gonna be strong, buzz even stronger. Now I really can't wait. Come on Feb. 1st(day 70).
