That is easier to believe living where your neighbors are far away. The tighter people are packed together, the worse it seems to get in my experience. I read about a study on rats where they reached a point of no return and skirmishes broke out and their ‘rat society’ broke down. I know 5% of us aren’t ‘rats’ but 95% act like them pretty frequently(thus my 95% rule). And wait until the SHTF…
Oh and it's a coming

Used to feed my family on the furs I'd catch every year until the fur market crash then I couldn't see taking an animals life for that petince.
My Gawd... Back in the 1950's I useta trap muskrats. I never made enough money to make it pay.
The turkeys are getting a bit too comfortable in my yard…
I love to turkey hunt. Talk about a rock and a hard place!

No fargin way can I shoot the big tom.

Couple years back in the 80's
$50 coons
$12 muskrat on the carcass
$125 for red fox
$75 for grey fox
Coyote would bring tops at 50 depending how pure

We'd catch over a thousand rats, 100 plus coons, handful of Mink, best year fox/coyote trapping 46 only 2 coyotes.
Got most of the yotes hunting them

I used to run well over 100 traps everyday, cold, sleet, snow rain.
8 hours running traps 6 hours skining, fleshing and stretching.

During fox season I'd take on a partner I had for 6 years and he'd run the rats and coon.
I'd check the canine traps hence the name OleReynard which not many know is a Red Fox.

I live in Massachusetts. We don’t even have a line. The shit is everywhere and deep.😁

you ain’t the only one

colorado is a schitt hole and it is being run into the ground by arseholes , puto Poulis leads the charge

the only line we have out here was the five counties who voted to secede from the state of Colorado and form our own state , North Colorado..

The results of the Colorado secession movement and the divisions it exposed are as follows:

  • The secession question passed by a wide margin in rural counties on Colorado’s eastern plains. For instance, 62.2 percent of voters in Phillips County on the Nebraska border voted for it. So did 59.6 percent of voters in Yuma County on the Nebraska line and 62.2 percent of voters in Cheyenne County on the Kansas state line.

daddy Ron is doing everything he can to deter the illegals from coming to Florida...I am now packing far more serious heat that I was last year...not by choice but by necessity...64 rounds with the mags taped back to back......
@Boo -- I couldn't hit a fargin thing with that rig. ^^^^^^^^^
I saw a taped triple magazine setup for the M-2 grease gun** -- the magazine was wide enough for one up, two down to fit.

** SOOPER USELESS UNCA TRIVIA: The one you see above cost $38

Double Sekrit Never Done But Coulda Trivia: You could stack an endless number of magazines taped UpDownUpDown side by side, and the resulting kluge would all fit/work as a unit in the US Gummint Zip Gun shown above.

It is deceptively hilly , we are at 4500’ ….

there is beauty to be found all over this earth

when I look over these high plains and prairies my imagination sees 10 million buffalo grazing alongside the antelope

I see running water and natural grazing prairies that the buffalo have cultivated and fertilized over the decades and the prairie fires that turned those pastures green in the spring with buffalo grass , side oats gramma , and little bluestem grasses..,
I can relate to that brother.

From my 9th grade French class class, RougeReynard would be Red Fox. I assumed you were an Old Fox. But 9th grade was decades ago and I have forgotten more info than I have retained. BTW-you would love trapping in the woods behind my house. We have all kinds of critters wearing money on their backs. The most bizarre is a Fisher Cat which is essentially a large weasel with a nice heavy pelt. I bet a Fisher Cat coat would fetch a pretty penny.
