Killer A5 Haze

Once again, my plant is turning yellow from the bottom to the top as it enters its 6-7th week of flowering. It's likely too late to reverse the situation in this grow cycle; however, I'll continue to nurture it for several more weeks in the hope of keeping it alive. It's disheartening to see the plant in this state, but I'll take this as a learning experience. Next time, I'll start with a lighter soil mix to ensure better nutrient balance. Or your plants just start to Take sugars etc from fan leaves? After all we grow it for buds ?

Of course I grow for the delicious buds 🤗

Usually never have such leaves and if I can fix it here I get stuck on something nutrient blockage or something else I have flushed and repotted it has recovered a bit but is now starting again

It's only annoying if you don't know why 🧐
Next try will be better (i hope 😅🫣).

Killer a5 Haze Day 36 since popping out of the soil

The photos here don't really show the early pistals and they look green for some reason, in reality they're pure shining white, maybe a trick of the camera light.... I'm now feeding it from time to time with the Monster bloom, I try to use less than the recommended dose for now and I also added more soil to the bucket... The other seeds are in fridge as always, one day when I've finally invested in my own house I'll grow them out too and probably clone them... I certainly will go 12/12 for much longer, but right now I need to hurry up this grow and harvest it soon... I wish didn't have to travel, I'm not considering on harvesting it early though but time is ticking .... If however a new pandemic or something similar breaks out then yeah I wouldn't have to travel for my duties and rush this whole grow, until then I will have to rush it and hope I get it to mature as soon as possible 😀

I'm not sure why the camera still makes the white pistals look green in the photos. Some are infact green but most of them are pure white...

I'm not sure if this is normal of not but right where the pistals are growing are also leaves growing both mixed together... At least that how it seems to be.... The photos here once again shows the white pistals as green instead of pure white which makes it difficult to differentiate between the leaves and pistals when looking at the photos but in reality I can see green thingies coming out mixed with the pure white pistals also coming out as well. In the photo they both look the same.... I was hoping the camera would actually capture the pistals in their true white color this time so that I could maybe get a hint from someone here on what that mixture might mean....
She’s floering at 5 weeks, right on track!

At day 11 flowering, plants already took over the tent.
The KA5H that used to look like a potato plant started to stretch and to throw thin sativa looking leaves

First pict is the canopy (KA5H on the left, Malawi on the middle and panama on the right).

Second pict is one of the new leaves my KA5H is throwing.

Killer a5 Haze between Day 38 and 39 since popping out

I had to take more than three pictures to see which one would actually capture the pistals, the camera still makes them look green but is starting to show them more as the real white color that they are in real life.. I had to only put up three of them though, the bottom one is the spray bottle, and in it is the Monster bloom mixed with water.... The room only smells if air refresherners aren't used, or if the window isn't opened... Otherwise it smells like fresh mountain air tropical breeze with windy air... We have many windy days around these months.... So that all helps.... The smell never really comes out to the other rooms... The top and lower leaves are buding as well, but the camera won't really show them yet....

Hi My good Haze Lovers,

Some pics + my comments of KA5H grown last fall indoor, 2 pheno's fully manicured, dryed, bag+jar cured.

#1 smells/taste complex flowery/decay flower + leathery/livery deep body and orange/citrus notes.
#1 Smoke is deep loud full and white taste is a splendide & complex mix of incense, leather, meaty livery after notes flowery woody with orange/citrus +notes. Just Beautifull and Sooooo addictive :)
#1 is cleary my fave, some reminishing tastes of some great neville's haze! TOP OF THE SHELF

#2 smells the real cat piss, resins earthy greeny Malawi/haze, smoke is deep & white taste is earthy and woody and more malawi remisniscent. Still Beautiful!!

These 2 are some real Killers like the name suggest, smoke is SO Strong! few tokes are enough to get a full straight kick, long lasting heady and psychedelic fx for 3/4 hours and introspective ending landing.
#2 is even stronger than #1, After FX of #2 are much more darker stoony body than #1.

Again Respect due to the breeder and strain preservator @dubi and @Yo Sammy for this spendide and brilliant polyhybrid, Some Real & Serious smoke. Give tanx!

Blessings to all,

Jahno
So I had to edit out my first comment, you say that you find it more intense compared to other strains you've smoked?

My two cents as an outdoor guy. Three fem seeds produced almost same pheno. I dont think I lucked out the most desired pheno of the four. But still very good stuff. Like almost all the sativa's I've dealt with, it benefits from a nice long slow cure. (Vacuum cure for moi). The potency just gets better. As does the smoothness and flavour. (I vape these days). Describe as herby, woody, leathery. Agreeable, smooth and satisfying. Very euphoric and pretty damn potent. But patience rewards with this aspect. (Goes mid-late May here). Long... but worth the effort. Not the prettiest plant... but the proof is in the product for this fussy old OG. Am currently into the last of my (now) year old cured bud. It just got better every time I got back to it. I like a large selection (sat and sat leaning) which gets round the old tolerance issue.

Exactly what I'm going for is vaccume curing... That's just what I need... Is a strain that gets better over time with long cure.... Vaccume cure that is...

interesting comments - i find that after the curing process which can take 1-2-3 weeks or so , weed is best fresh... i see lots of guys stating curing for upto a year... not my experience... but as my wife says... what the fuk do u know...

Interesting; I have some that's 4months old and has been cured using fermentation. Its certainly better for a cure imho and I'm pretty sure that'll be even better in a year.
Several years ago, I grew Panama haze; I found it mediocre on first sampling and didn't bother with it. One year later the same weed blew me away.

Each to his own I guess.🙂

Bless bro,
I smoke ganja everyday and been growing siince 1997 indoor and outdoor. I've been lucky enough to start growin with some very hi quality seeds since the beginning as some elders friends brang us some seeds directly from the seedbank Amsterdam. My firsts plants was some haze x nl5 x skunk. Then i ve grown dozens of strains for all these years mainly from dutch passion, MNS, sensi, barneys, philo seeds and more recently ACE. Do i Have to say Ace Seeds did really impress me?? Yess for real!!
Ive grown dozens of OG/Kush/cookie/dosi/strawnana... cali american strains and LOTS of sativa hybrid oldskool haze/SSH/MH/NEVILLES HAZE/JACK/KALIMIST/HEMPSTARR/SENSISTAR/Pineapple haze etc..
And this Malawi killer A5 Haze is by far superior in quality and more interesting to grow.
Ive grown 4 differents KHA5 in total, and the last 2 from the previous run was the strongest af all of them. The kind of smoke that is so strong that you only smoke it at the end of the day when you have NOTHIN important to do next.
The Kick is so quick, strong and intense and put an instant soaring hi smile on your face, like a good rush of full THCV blood in the brain!
The fx are hi and very psychedelic and trippy for the first part becomming very surrounding cloudy and cotony for the last longstating parts with long long meditatve after fxs...
Its very good to make artistic work for the firsts 2/3 hours of hi then its becomming to much narcotic and body hi to be able to do something with full accuracy. I DONT RECOMMEND IT FOR STUDIO RECORDING SESSIONS AND TIMING/MELODY ACCURACY IT'S WAY TOO MUCH STRONG. High strengh and power is comparable to OG Banana Kush at more than 30% THC (CHIQUITA BANANA PHILO SEEDS)
With curing and time the taste is greatly improving and fully giving its full complexity.
A pure bonheur for the connaisseur's!

I'd pretty much second that. And like you, i grew most of the classics back in the late 80's and onward.

Have you tried the straight Malawi from Ace?; I found that more overpowering than the 2 phenos that I've tried of the killer A5 (admittedly their both only 4months old).

Hi Bro,
Never tried it again but will definitively give a try in one of the next Runs! Malawi has a legendary reputation, i was so absorbed by all those fantastic Ace strains that i certainly overlooked this pure gem!

I think you'll like it. I'm a stoner all my life and have grown Malawi 5 times, always outside. It was my go to weed when I wanted to completely waste myself.

I'm considering growing her again this year, but then again it might be Mulanje x Malawi/Ethiopian. Decisions, decisions😂
