Vintage Colombian

It's not all sunshine and lollipops up here on the mountain. Plants and people have to strong to thrive here.
Low temps, high winds, torrential rain and overcast days are almost normal. Unstable agreements combined with infrequent financing doesn't allow for consistency making preservation and inbreeding a challenge. Then there's time, never enough due to mismanagement and ignorance to the subject, time blatantly wasted.
But sometimes through determination and persistence I get lucky and actually finish a project. Never exactly how or when I want but close enough.
I feel extresm gratitude that the stars aligned correctly to allow me to get this far.
Very fortunate and again great gratitude that the incredible genetics from around the world find me here on my little slice of Colombia.
There's no goal, no finish line, no trophy's or sexy cup groupies, it's just being as consistent as possible.
Where does it go from here, how does it end, not important just press on.
So the rider presses on searching for the end of the day with the holly Grail.

The pictures don't do these plants justice. The Hawaiians are really getting juicy, with incredible terps. I don't have a strong sense of smell but I can smell these plants meters outside the greenhouse. It's a delightful citrus incense perfume smell, not overpowering but undeniably present.
The tricombs are everywhere but super small and descrit, but that plant is sticky.
Really high quality plants, I've only smocked the odd inmature flower but it's potent. Great work there buddy.
Not to be outdone the Colombian Muisca is developing her own funk. Not really noticable unless disturbed, she has a funky hash skunk smell. It's still streaching and filling in, so long way to go.
The djamba is slow but steady filling in and developing some tiny tricombs.
I've never grown and plant before with a stem this color. It's almost black and the color is consistent through out the plant. Looks cool, different.
Got some new plants coming into the greenhouse. Doing some small Samora and two new varieties from my neighbor. He's been doing some great indoor work and now trying them out under the Colombian sun.
Still battling the slugs but seems to be less intense, with just a few random bites here and there. Good things are coming.

This is an example of one of Bodhi’s Soar ( Columbian x Old Mother Ghani), from seed. This one shows very little indica, greasy, trichs on stalks, long flowering. Will report back soon.
That's a very nice plant, great work.
Djamba
I like hybrids but I'm from the school where there's pure sativa and then there's hybrids. In my opinion once any other that a sativa touches a sativa it's no longer a sative.
I'm very close to the equator so I can take tropical sativa to the intended Max. I'm able to get the full expression of the plant naturally.
Here the sun flattens up the tropical flowers in the most incredible way.

like your Haze hybrid and your pictures are most definitely welcome. It's obvious sativa, I like the long internodes. I was just saying that in my opinion once I cross a pure tropical sativa with anything other than a pure sativa I changes the sativa affect. But I grow and enjoy hybrids, I just try to keep some varieties pure if possible.

The Muisca Colombian sativa just keeps piling on. I like this plant, it's long flowering and thank goodness restraint to the nightly slug attacks.
The taste is very unique to me and addictive. What I like about the hit is the creeper effect that builds to a nice peak. This plant is more potent than the samples I tried last year that were grown by someone else in Paipa. Weeks to go but already gaining my respect for this local variety.

Hawaiian update:
The Hawaiians are past mid flower now and I've got 4 phenotypes . All excellent, a little variation in morphology but all (3 number 4 is in pre flower) kick ass.
This one is the slowest to develop but could be due to the slugs. I cut the most finished phenotype cause I didn't want the slugs to get it.
The hit from the finished one is really good, super strong sativa. To me it's very similar to my best Malawi but still different. The taste is not citrus now fully dry, more earthly incense,nice. Comes on strong and I don't need to smoke a lot of it to get things done.
Had some Hawaiian get accidentally fermented. I put some flowers in a little plastic bag to travel with and forgot it was in my pocket. Came out great although just lightly fermented. Smoke is smoother and the hit deeper.
Bad news is the slug situation continues, I'm expecting a chemical solution is required and I've got some on the way.
For some reason the slugs really go for the Hawaiian, which is not to say they don't eat the other varieties cause they do. The only plant in the greenhouse unaffected is the djamba, no idea why.

The Muisca has an unusual morphology that's new to me.
Almost cactus like with huge colas filled with buds.
This one has a familiar scent that is pretty common in high altitude Colombian. Very tough plant that could grow outside.
Early test flowers finally dry, indicate good potency and clean hit. Just a matter of time now, no hurry.

Pictures don't show it but it's a sticky plant, just a touch gets it all over. Very nice plant to grow.
Muisca is also doing her thing slowly ripening. Pure sativa but so different from the Djamba. The Muisca is stronger and acclimated to the finca climate.
