U.K cheese brightside cut ?

more viroid infected, less THC. So less high, less terps, less entourage effect.
so maybe you could identify it this way(y) say you grow out one plant it where awesome then next time round it where totally lacking in the high department and taste. same environment, this to me this is kinda what happened with the cheese over the years, it got weaker and weaker over the years un till the awesome high and taste where not the same. i all ways thought it where repeat cloning. but i have had plants that dont degrade and get better over time.

Testing is the best way to identify. There are other pathogens that can infect cannabis and would make the plant not perform as it should. Calling it hop latent in the absence of testing indicates nothing

Indeed this^^^^^ there are many other viriods and pathogens at play here in the community, testing only for hop latent is like bare backing a crack whore then going to the clinic and just getting tested for chlamydia lol

A full plant shot for anyone wondering about her structure, virtually no stretch all and very strong branches,she needs one hell of a strip back a couple weeks in to flower to get light into the middle of her but when you do she puts out,...these ones were packed in tight so the shape of the branching is a little skewiff on this particular one..

Heard it described as blues like and having a bit of the pear drop thing, too stocky in that pic too, I reckon a hybrid but if good who cares??

Mine looked pretty similar to what I’ve seen earlier in this thread when I grew it with salts. This was a organic run and turned out a bit different. Foxtails we’re more extreme on my salt run but you can see it still in the bud structure
. More color this organic run but I did make night temps mid 50’s at the end. Had 2 - 4 ft filters going and you could smell it 200 ft away from the building.

Was this under LEDs? I'm just wondering as I remember it used to be a bit lankier under hps and a bit more floppy but structure wise the same with the branching out ..

Hey Pete,Haha I know who you've been talking too regarding the blues taste and I disagree with the guy,I'm not getting any berry or pear drop out of her,just chemical antiseptic dettol type thing with an underlying wet mop bucket smell and a backbone that is slightly rotten/mouldy...as for the stockiness yes I'm using led,this plant is defo not blues or a hybrid of blues 100%

Good information some Picts and names would be appreciated…I mean you need to say where the infection is coming from which company , so all can avoid .
You can't say who and where it is..For the last 15 years, I'd hazard a guess that it was coming from most. A fair % of at the very least. LOL test chinese hemp seed on the shelves in a health store and its full of it too. You'd be very surprised. Austrian cloneshops, all the ones that a freind visited, he tested them and they were all positive, that was 2-3 years back. I was seeing it in seed in mid2000's. Look at chocolope and LA confidential era of strains, those were both worthy cannabis cup winners, and then? Where did they go? Why has no one got a decent cut anymore for the last decade? Looking back I seed the viroid in those seeds even back in the day.

Not good , things are expensive enough never mind fighting viroids and dwindling yields , I also had a few pops
Where they just don’t thicken up now I know why
I wonder if landies hold the secret to beating it ?
i haven’t had any duds ect on them ….

I use to think that as well but I don’t believe it any more. I have plants that do it that have tested negative 8 times now.
Yeah could be genetic trait, I mean you get the freakshow, WTF is that LOL...100% it is not a reliable indicator, but a pretty reliable one, if say for example the plant did not do it before, and does now, or doesnt generally but on one or two lower leaves you spot it often then its pretty reliable. I have one plant that throws horizontal branches, at 90 degrees..but it is not infected, it is just really indica dominant, hardly stretches and finishes in small christmas trees in 7 weeks. You get outlier genetics who's form is different to the norm, when uninfected. So I agree with you mate. Also yes there are a myriad of virii and viroids in weed. They often find co-infection. We germinated seeds from one vendor, that breeds with clean from viroid parents, they aren't the cheapest seeds LOL, and there was one plant that had a clear viral infection of some sort that would show in its clones, but did not affect its flower..seemingly. I've seen other infections with HVLD for sure..luckily the beet curly top and others are not prevalent in my area. I think a lot of virii do not pass through the seed, but lots of viroids do..though dont quote me on that.

Speaking to the lab in the states that I have been working, they said you can probably send samples into testing to labs in the states for viral testing, $20 a pop, its not bad at all, samples won't contain any significant THC and would be classified as hemp. If I was in the UK or, and I was wondering about my mom stock, I'd investigate that a bit for sure...

Yeah bimble, ours mainly lime green, but it can go rainbow colours on a high P high Ca diet with decent N though the budset, when it has cold nights and a nice N starve preharvest. Would get lots of peach and orange, pinks.. little purple in leaves, buds stay lime green for the most part.

I've Had a few serious things to deal with so I've not been online much,,

This is my thoughts from other peoples crops,,, I'm not giving my definitive opinion yet as I know my grows alway show different sides to cuts than other people's,,(my crops always taste darker),, there is a high chance that once I grow out bimbles myself it will come out with no sweetness,, but as it stands I've had a few samples from other people and it's not looked like brightsides to me,,back in the day I saw brightsides from multiple growers and it always lacked sweetness,, bimbles has tasted sweet a couple of times now,, beautiful imho,, lovely flavour,, but again this is from other people's grows,,

Not sure if Pete is talking about me but he probably is,, Pete is one of my old friends,, when it comes to genetics he's a high level guy, can't fault him,, he can pick a plant apart genetically just by looking at it,, don't be modest now bro,,

I personally love bimbles cheese alot alot alot ,, windows was previously my favourite cut but since having bimbles it's probably my favourite now,, I love windows cheese too but it's kinda difficult for me to make it sweet,, windows has a dark Afghani flavour I keep bringing out of it,, bimbles is sweeter than windows in the grows I have seen so far,, I've started to prefer bimbles cut simply because I kept making windows too dark in the flavour and it takes a certain type of grow to make it sweet and its not my style of grow,, other people seem to make bimbles sweeter too,, other people can make windows sweet but they haven't been as sweet as bumbles,, It takes a certain type of grow to make windows sweet and my guys don't do it really, me neither,, it's a shame really because some samples of windows cheese that i got from super independent people like window himself had a beautiful sweetness that I have never realy captured in mine or my guys grows,,

Obviously this is all subjective, but I find bimbles sweeter than windows, bimbles is sweeter than brightsides too imho,, bimbles tastes almost bluesy to me,,

I respect bimbles opinion alot,, you are a top guy bro and you are a good grower ,, I need you to taste windows to see what I'm saying ,, so far yours has been sweeter than windows imho ,,, I can understand you don't find it sweet but compared to windows it is sweeter imo honestly ,, I'm not telling you porkies bro

it's not just me who has said it has a bluesy twist,, witch I love BTW , people who I passed it to came back with this exact discripion,, "it's a lil bluesy, but it's really really good cheese",, these people had no prior information and came to there own conclusions,, I smoked samples from them and I agreed,,

I'm not making any definitive decisions till I grow it myself,, but preliminary checking says its better than brightsides for flavour,,sweeter

That's my honest opinion on the back of other peoples grows,, I'm reserving my final opinion until I get it on nft with canna aqua but because of unfortunate circumstances I've not got it into my old style of grows just yet,,

Hey Rick mate good to see you back,it's cool I respect your opinion heep's you know that and it won't be long before I get to try a sample grown by myself also as in the last week now, but as I said the samples I've had so far ,one recent and the one I got when receiving the cut ,neither had a sweet berry thing,as you say it's all subjective but yer I'll give my full opinion too once I've tried a proper example grown by me...fuck knows bro,all I know is that you are the one who labelled the clone bs in the first place and if you say she's not the one then she's literally not the one and I'm totally fine with that because either way the community has another decent quote unquote 'cheese'....now hurry up and grow her already bro,na just joking 😉
