I'm beginning to realize that with the 2 hernias I have I won't be working with my plants like I usually do. Surgery isn't until February

Good luck with the hernia op.
Had mine 18 months ago.
Best decision ever.

I should not have told the 10 year old footballing little shit that Houdini died from an unexpected punch to the stomach because 5 minutes later in the playground when i was eyeing up his mother in a mini skirt and nice crisp white thong he kicked that fuckin ball as hard as he could at my stomach.

I wasn't expecting it and didnt see it coming as his mum had grabbed all my attention but i felt that ball's shock wave in slow motion rupture a few things.

Tis fine now. I often wonder if she still wears that thong.

Thank you @exoticrobotic . I love the story about the thong too. Not the painful ball to the stomach. I'll be thinking about that thong when I go into the operating room. That should put me at ease.

Thanks @Hasch . Happy holidays to you and everyone here on ICMAG.
Sorry to hear about the hernias. My brother had one repaired in the past year. Its fairly common. Take care of your self and take it easy. Thankfully you have plenty of medicine! :smoke:

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I don't make sweets at all generally. My desert of choice I make is based with steel cut oats made in a cast iron skillet. I like them topped with plenty of hulled hemp seed, organic raisins, peanuts, peanut butter, raw honey, and roasted organic cinnamon.

Hemp seed is so good. I recommend using it, there is NO substitute. Adds wholesome flavor and heartiness, Hemp seed contains all the essential types of protein, omega fatty acids, and fiber. Very good addition to any desert in my opinion.

Raw honey is also a winner. Smells like straight clover nectar since it hasnt been heated like normal pure honey.

Thank you @pipeline. Merry Christmas and Happy new year my friend. I thought I had one hernia. But, the surgeon said I have two. So, I've been careful of what I lift. It only causes a little discomfort. Dealing with severe back and leg pain for over 20 years. This is nothing.
I do use a seed blend of Flax,Chia and Hemp seeds in one of my breads. I also use raw honey in another. My older brother and sister both keep bees.

I keep bees but am always busy with work and cannabis garden to harvest honey. I want to make the time, I was given a frame spinner to collect honey as well as a hot knife and strainer with bucket. Only have so much time and energy. This herb hits the spot, better than honey, sweeter in some ways. :smoke:

My older brother has everything, my sister just keeps a single hive. My sister in law just purchased a hive for my younger brother, so I'll never need to keep bees myself. I'm into Maple sugaring too. I'll post pictures when the season rolls around again.

An interesting note regarding bees and pollen. For two seasons I've grown Moroccan beldia and have hade a native sweet bee working the males for pollen and messing up my pollen-collecting. I'm really intrigued by this I've never seen these bees before only when the Beldia males are flowering, not even on other cannabis male flowers. The plants were swarming with busy little bees .They even followed me when I picked some flowering shoots. If I move the plants they find them

That's interesting. But, I have heard of it before. It must be something in the phytocannabinoids of that specific strain that attracts them.

Muśt be the only other thing I can think of is the time of year ,Beldia is really early with the males flowering beginning at the end of July. Maybe they have nothing else going then. It's really strange I never see these golden sweet bees any other time .What do they do the rest of the season? I work outside and am very attentive to new insects ,animals and plants

It certainly could be they have no other food source then. But, according to this following thread they feed on a large variety of flowers.

Just pulled this Sauerkraut-n-bratwurst pizza from the oven. I know it may not sound appetizing to some of you and that's what I thought the first time I made it. But, it's delicious. I get tired of the same old toppings.
