That was BrokenEnglish's posts in this thread (I think in the 260s) that had screen shots of messages from CSI, confirming CSI had gotten its "cheese" cut from quejo. CSI also contended in those messages that the first cheese cut in the US came to them from Kendo, who got it from quejo.

But, shiskaboy has shown posts indicating that the "wizard cut", which came from obsoul33t is the original cheese.

So that tends to prove the "wizard cut" is a different cut than whatever cut CSI has. It also tends to prove the CSI cut is not the only "cheese" cut in the US.

Barring evidence to the contrary that has yet to be brought up - I think it's reasonable to conclude that the "wizard cut" is a cut of the original cheese that followed a different path to the US than the one taken by the CSI/quejo cut.

It came to me as UK Cheese - which is what Subcool (who got it from obsoul33t) called it.

I'm well pissed i lost my exodus clone, but theres good news as i did outcross her to a few different males, all a need is to find the best and start some serious breeding. At least i had it for a few years, i must have got mn in 2006-8. I only sent out a few seeds for test grows to about 10 people most local to me and a few on here, and that was Big Cheese exodus x F1 Chronic and that turned out great, shame things went tits up for me with my housing association finding my veg/clone/mother room the flowering room was directly behind them and they didn't even open it. No police got involved as i made up a load of crap about a gang will kill me, so i got a warning for about 60 plants. My ars hole was twitching like a mother fucker.

I’m not cheese lover always left me miserable after smoking so I won’t sampling too much Probably a joint before lights out
Most of it will go into making rso oil but I will keep some back for the cheese heads to sample

Now Iv had a few plants show xylem sap when I topped a Tom hill haze had a blood red sap appear also a golden looking sap in Buddha Tahoe but Iv not seen anything like this in these cuttings

Covid aftermath? I mean, my weed smelled all the same for a good while, when I had covid and the smell came back after losing it completely. And there was a part in the "new" weed smell that I didn't like, kind of of onion and poop. I couldn't tell if my neighbours cooked onion soup or did a big dump or really only smoked some weed.
But the day I caught covid and lost the smell it started with everything having a metallic vinegar or ammonia smell to it.

blues/livers is alot more chemical earthy dirty dank as in there is no fruit or floral its chemical....

No, Blues/Livers though available there was not from there, if you ever visited a "blues party" you'd of smoked it!! Livers gave it out, Sound system crews spread it about.

All the Cheese seemed to vanish at the same time in Lpool as people tired of it (though it would seem some kept it, but most switched to a blue cheese), I know some of the cheese was actually pyschosis, none of it was called Brightside though mostly the Exo (fella called Mark sourced one of the cuts and it was housed for a good while at an older fellas house who sold plenty of hash)

ok cool thanks for clearing that up @Crazy Chester,i just couldent piece all that stuff together in my head from the sporadic posts and shit so nice one for that,so the quejo/csi and the wizard are 2 different cuts...so with provenance counting for everything then i guess we gotta take obsoul33t word on his being the original because the dude is highly regarded and respected, and by countless people i've looked up too over the years so thats good enough for me...any smoke report yet on the wizard anyone? somebody needs to do a side by with the wizard and mine,i can get her where she needs to be i'm sure....

We already know others sent it, I presume Chimera got his via Robbie? (Vision), As far As I'm aware The Wizard ref is to a guy from Liverpool and not L33t (or they the same?)

No doubt a few people sent over the original who are not from the ic community also,could be wrong but i think hazyfontazy said he did back in the day as well...right ok yes before mention of L33t ,i had it in my head that the guy wizard who's name is attached to that cut was the guy weed wizard who was on True's podcast,he is from liverpool..if im not mistaken when i think back when Broken english first posted about it he said it came from liverpool...
Now as far as i know True was and is still looking for the brightside because i talked to him when i first came on here,so surely he would have been offered and tried the cut from wizard and yer... he's still looking,so with that in mind surely it cant be it. no ?...either that or i am imagining all of that and it is actually from obsouL33t lol

With another wizard in the UK involved with cheese - the cheese story continues to get more complex, lol. My thought on the "wizard" name being from obsoul33t was a connection I made from his IG handle, "wizard_of_obs". But, I also think the veg pics of what's been termed the wizard cut posted in this thread look within the realm of morphological possibility to be the same one I have, the origin of which I've traced back to obsoul33t. I also think the bud structure of it looks like the mythical first pic of cheese that people thought was fake (once you take off the fan leafs). Then, there's obsoul33t being generally respected as having the goods.

Vision, or a similar name, I think was mentioned by CSI as being in the path that their cut came from.
